The Debate on Criminals Who are Elderly, Showed NO Signs of Remorse, Still Received a “Slap on the Wrist” for Sexual Harassment

Because you are elderly, therefore, you should, GET a FREE pass when you break a law, is that it???  This ELDERLY LOSER only received a SLAP on the WRIST for the CRIME he’d committed, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Eighty-Five-Year-Old Elderly Man, Chen Who’d Asked a Female Realtor to Help Sell His Home, Was Accused of Sexually Harassing the Female Realtor, He’d Even, Bear-Hugged, Kissed Her Against Her Will, He was Charged with Sexual Harassment; the Judge Believed that Chen Showed Lack of Remorse, and Didn’t Have Any Respect for Women Whatsoever, But Still Reduced His Sentence, Because of His Age, Sentenced Him to Just Three Months in Prison, and He Can Pay the Justice Department $90,000N.T. to Get out from Serving the Time.

An attorney pointed out, that although judge has the right to pass the verdict, but still had to base her/his decisions on whether or not the defendant had enough control, can judge between right from wrong, then, decide on a reduced sentence, but Chen the elderly, not only denied the allegations, showed NO sign of remorse, that although the decision wasn’t against the laws, but, it had, not matched up to the expectations of the society.

The Keelung D.A.’s office stated, that the female realtor didn’t ask anything from Chen in the civil suits, only wanted Chen to apologize, but the two parties had yet to reach a settlement; if the female realtor was displeased at the verdict, she could fight for an appeal.

The police investigations found, that Chen and the victim knew each other because Chen asked her to help him sell his property, on May 10^th, he’d asked her to his place, and sat on the couch of his living room, Chen kept advancing toward the female realtor, and, attacked her breasts, and told her, “Your tits are, huge!”, but the female realtor held it in, because he was her client.

As they’d signed the contract, when the realtor was leaving, Chen followed her down in the elevators, and, inside the elevators, he’d put his arms around her shoulders, extended his neck, attempted to kiss her against her will, the female realtor dodged, blocked him off with her hand, and Chen got mad, said, “I can’t do that to you either!”, then, he’d, stopped, harassing her, they’d left, both feeling, displeased.  Afterwards, the female realtor complained to her manager at the real estate agency, and cried to her friends, then, reported the incident to the police.

As Chen was taken in by the police, he’d, denied ALL the allegations, claimed that he was, hard of hearing, and that he got used to, getting close to someone when s/he talks to him, that it may have, caused some misunderstandings with the female real estate agent; that he is eighty-five years old, not at all that largely built, couldn’t move as agile, that if he’d, crossed the line with the female real estate agent, she could easily push him, and he would, fall backwards, and he’d, libeled and slandered and accused how the female real estate agent made the false accusations because he wouldn’t loan her money.

But the surveillance footages proved the claims of the female real estate agent, and the Keelung District Courts found that Chen was guilty of sexual harassment, that he’d lacked respect for women, and showed NO remorse, and still hadn’t reached a settlement agreement with the female real estate agent, that he’d caused permanent psychological damages in the victim.

But, considering how Chen was his age, based off of Penal Code #18, criminals over eighty can receive a reduced sentence, sentenced him to three months in prison.

Yeah uh, this is, NOT justice at all, I mean, if you’re elderly, and you’d, sexually harassed someone, or even RAPED someone, you can use your age as a VALID defense, and get off easy, that, is what this case is telling us, and that’s just NOT justice, and, it still wouldn’t be FAIR, to the victims of these sorts of crimes, can you imagine how much the female real estate agent would have to weather through, after this elderly LOSER attacked her???  Punishment still nowhere FIT the crime here!!!
