During the New Year’s holidays, there was a family tragedy that occurred in Kinmen. The fifty-year-old woman, Shue late two evenings ago, started altercating on matters of inheritances two evenings ago with her forty-two-year-old nephew, they got into a fist fight, Shue grabbed a fruit knife, and stabbed her own nephew, one of the stabs was into his chest, the nephew fell down into a pool of blood, and after he was rushed to the hospital, he’d, died.
The police found, that the deceased’s parents were divorced, after his father died, he’d lived in a two-story mansion with his aunt. Shue told the police, that recently, the elders of the family had passed, left behind a sum of inheritance, and the members of the family had separate opinions on how the money should be split, the two of them didn’t agree, and started carrying a grudge toward one another, yesterday evening, they’d started arguing on the matter again, and, she’d, stabbed her own nephew to death.
Shue testified, that they’d started fighting again last night, she’d gone back into her bedroom, her nephew was worked up, and banged on her door, she was so scared, she’d called the police, then, she’d gotten into a brawl with him, and, accidentally, she’d, stabbed him with a fruit knife in the chest. As the police came at the call of domestic violence, they saw Shue’s nephew lying in a pool of blood, and he’d died on the way, as the paramedics rushed him into the hospital.
The local chief of police, Tsai stated, that the through-and-through in Shue’s nephew’s chest was what killed him, and there were, other puncture wounds on him too, there was, a huge pool of blood in the scene of the crime, the suspected murder weapons, the fruit knife and a pair of scissors were, left outside of the bedroom, there were, light scratches on Shue’s hands too. The police originally thought, that Shue had, used the scissors to murder her own nephew too, but, based off of her testimonies, in the verbal altercations, neither she, nor her nephew picked up the pair of scissors.
After the murder, the mother of the deceased was notified, and she’d rushed over from Taiwan to confirm the identity of the deceased, looked very sorrowful, she was distraught, but because she didn’t know what was going on in her son’s life, she couldn’t have anything to add. After Shue was interrogated by the police, she was charged with murder, and sent to Kinmen’s D.A.’s offices.
And so, this, is still due to a build-up of events, the nephew and the aunt had been arguing for awhile over the properties and the assets, and, in the heat of the moment, the woman picked up that pair of scissors, and attacked her own nephew, and killed him, and, this still could’ve been avoided easily, but it’d still, happened.
