For the very first time, Pope Francis admitted on the fifth, that there’s been a persisting problem of the male priests’, and the bishops’ raping the nuns.
In recent years, in India, Africa, Latin America and Italy, there had been, the Catholic nuns who’d stepped out, accused the male priests of rapes, a publishing of the Vatican reported on how nuns were, raped by male priests, who’d given births or aborted their fetuses.
In the past, Pope Francis never directly addressed this problem, on his way back from his appearances in the U.A.E., he was asked by the press about this issue, he’d stated, “This is true, there were, officials of the church, and priests who’d, done these things.”
He said, “I think this sort of atrocity keeps on happening, because it isn’t something you can put an end to after you’d found out about it; we had all been, working on the matter ofr a while now.” Francis stated, some of the improperly behaving priest had already been taken off their duties as priests for raping the nuns.

In recent years, the issue of Catholic priests raping young children and adolescent had come under the spotlight, but now, as Pope Francis had disclosed, there were nuns who’d been, victimized too.
In November of 2018, the representative organization of women who work for the Catholic Church publicized the “silent and secret culture”, they called out to the nuns, to expose the bad behaviors of Catholic priests, and officials, encouraged the nuns, to report to the police, or to the head of their nunneries.

Nobody knows the exact number of nuns who were victimized, a lot of the victims worried that nobody would believe them, and chose to remain silent on the matters, and the leaders of the church didn’t dare admit, fearing they may lose their authority.
And so, because the victims feared getting shunned, they’d, remained silent, and because the church feared that they may lose their credibility, they’d covered up these sex scandals, and this would be a HUGE problem, of Catholicism, mainly, because the priests are supposed to remain celibate for the rest of their lives, and yet, biologically, men have their needs, and so, they’re, more than likely, to take it out on those little innocent, choir boys, or the nuns!
