“He was just an intersection away!”, Lu’s family told, that the family owned and operated a dumpling shop at the intersection of He-Wei Road, Sec. 1 and Hsu-Ru Street, when the accident happened, the elderly was riding toward the Park Avenue from He-Wei Road, Sec. 1. Lu’s granddaughter told, that she’d followed on her motorcycle closely after her grandfather, and before her grandfather was hit, she checked her mirror, and there was, NO bus behind him. And, the bus just, showed up out of nowhere, and hit her grandfather, as she saw this, she’d screamed for everybody to come out and help them.

The police investigated, that the elderly man, Lu (age 85) at 10:53 yesterday morning, rode his motorcycle toward the intersection of He-Wei Road, Sec. 1, and Hsu-Zi Street, was run over by the bus, driven by Wang (age 61), he and his motorcycle both rolled under the bus. As the police and fire department finally arrived, and the rescuers used the equipment, the machineries, and after about ten minutes, Lu was out from under, but he was already unconscious, and, there were, lacerations on his head, he’d suffered a complete fracture on his left foot, his right foot was, disfigured, he was rushed to the Chenggong University Hospital for emergency resuscitation, but he’d died, due to his severe injuries.
The busdriver, Wang testified, that the bus was going at about fifty kilometers an hour, as he saw Lu, he’d slammed on the emergency brakes, but the bus still kept going. There were about a dozen passengers on the bus, all were thrilled, the bus company immediately sent another bus to take the passengers away. The bus company that Wang worked for stated, that what had happened exactly, they are still waiting for the police reports to tell them, and other than complying fully with the police investigations, the company will also, help the family of the elderly with his final affairs.
The forensic investigators from the police department examined the roads, and based off of the skid marks, believed that the bus was moving too fast, otherwise, it could’ve, stopped in time. They are already, reviewing over the surveillance footage, and the camera on the bus to find out why the accident had, happened.
And so, this still just showed, how fragile life can be, you don’t KNOW when your last moment here on earth is, because you can get YANKED off just like that (a snap of the finger???), and that just showed, that we all need to, live our lives, on a day-to-day basis, like there’s no, tomorrow, and, the bus driver is at fault, because he was, speeding, and had he driven slower, then, he might have been able to slam on the brakes in time, and not crushed over the elderly man.
