A man, Lin is from a Rich Family, but He’d Falsified Himself as the Head of a City Councilman’s Office, the Manager of an Ad Agency, a Reporter, and Scammed Multiple Companies for Funding, and Golf Equipment, even a Former Basketball Player Who Owned a Sports Shop, Huang Got Scammed as Well, he had Multiple Arrest Warrants on Him; as the Police Arrived to Arrest Him, Lin’s Father Attempted to Stop the Police, He Too, Was Charged with Obstruction of Justice.
The police found, that the 28-year-old Lin lived with his parents in a high-end apartment complex in Yonghe, Hsinbei City, his father is a landlord, he came from a well-to-do background, and yet, started at the age of eighteen, he’d started, scamming.
In December of 2013, Lin used the identity of the office manager of the councilman, Chiu, claimed that he could get consent from the councilman, scammed a total of 159 television sets valued at $286 million N.T.S. he was sentenced to a year on fraud by the Hsinbei District Court.
In July of 2015, Lin claimed to the Julia Ads Agency that he was going to film the high school basketball games, and said he was putting together a team, and sponsoring the games, and claimed to the outside, that he is a case manager of Julia Ads Agency, and scammed the former basketball player Huang, of his jersey of $210,000N.T.s, and other items as well, and as Huang chased after him, he’d written a check that he’d stolen from the Julia Ads Agency, he was sentenced for forgery for three years six months, and sentenced to two years two months for fraud.
In May of 2016, he’d claimed that he was a reporter from a certain T.V. station, “Ting”, called up the office of a certain councilman’s office, claimed that there was someone who’d died and wanted the items sent to the people’s home on the behalf of the councilman, he’d even sent an obituary to the councilman’s office; the workers at the office later checked with the T.V. station, and found there to be no such worker, and reported it to the police, and the Taipei District Courts charged him with attempted fraud, and sentenced him to ten days in prison.
In June of 2017, Lin claimed that he was selling iPhones for only $15,000N.T.s, as he’d received the money, he’d not sent the items, and was, once charged with fraud by the Taipei District Court, taken into custody for fifty days; and because he’d never shown up, both Taipei and Hsinbei issued a total of FOUR active arrest warrants on him.
The Yonghe Substation learned yesterday afternoon that Lin made it home, and rushed over to arrest him, as the police came, Lin and his parents were sitting in the commons area, as he saw the police walked up in plain clothes, he’d attempted to escape, his father helped him block the officers, causing one officer injured in the process; the police arrested both the father and the son, and, after interrogations, they’d sent Lin to Hsinbei District Court, and Lin’s father was charged with obstruction of justice.
This is, one MORE case of a man, getting spoiled ROTTEN by his rich family, and, he thought he could get away, because his daddy had a ton of money, and, as he was getting caught, his father attempted to help hold the cops off from catching his son who’d broken the law, and this is still a case of how the apple GROWS on the TREES here!
