A seven-year-old girl, Hsu from Taichung, saw how her grandmother’s cohabiting partner, Hsu was operating a forklift, taking her older sister, and his own grandson out for a ride, she’d wanted to get on too. And, the three young children stood on the forklift portion of the heavy machinery, and, as the machine went for no more than ten meters, the young child had, fallen off, and, was run over by the forklift, the grandmother rushed up to save her granddaughter, but, she’d died as she was, rushed to the hospital, due to having too severe injuries.
The police found, that Hsu didn’t have a license for operation of the forklift, and after they’d interrogated him, they charged him with negligence homicide, and ticketed him on the traffic violations too.
The manager of the domestic violence prevention center of Social Services in Taichung, Hou stated, that the young girl was card for my her maternal grandmother, and Hsu was her grandmother’s cohabiting partner, who owned a recycle yard.
Yesterday at noon, the child and other children wanted to ride on the forklift, and was suspected of not having been steady enough, that she’d, fallen off the forklift, and then, was run over.
The police found, that Hsu’s nine-year-old older sister and Hsu’s own grandson begged to ride on the forklift, Hsu put them both on the forklift, and, drove the machine around twice; as he’d arrived at the junkyard, Hsu saw and wanted to get on too.
Hsu allowed Hsu to stand up on the left forklift, the grandmother worried about her safety, came outside to check. And, as the forklift operated with the girl for no more than ten seconds, the wheels was suspected of passing through the ditches, it’d, jostled, and, the child fell to the ground, and was, hit, then, run over by the forklift, the grandmother rushed her granddaughter to the E.R.
The hospital stated, that the child had internal bleeding in her chest, her abdomen, she’d suffered multiple contusions on her head and body, they’d done all they could on her, but she’d, still died; as the families heard, they’d started, crying hard, the grandmother of the young child blamed herself, and was distraught.
And so, this still showed, just how important it is, to keep your eyes on your own young at ALL time, because anything CAN and WILL happen, in a matter of just a few split seconds, and, this young child died, because of the adult’s neglect, because they were careless, and, you’re NOT supposed to ride on the forklift in the first place, and someone ought to be CHARGED for this young child’s death by “accident”.
