The cabdriver from Tainchung, Wang’s murder was solved yesterday, the suspect was a fellow cabdriver, Zhou, and the motive of his murder was, a three-way affair; Zhou admitted that he had, strangled Wang to death as he’d asked Wang out for a confrontation with him on the 30th of last month, he’d driven the body to the ninth public cemetery, and buried the body inside an open grave, and after the police interrogated him, they charged him with murder, and took him into custody.
The police zoomed in on the fifty-year-old suspect, Zhou two days ago, but Zhou didn’t admit to murder, until the police saw on the street cams of how he drove to the intersection of the ninth public cemetery in the midnight hours, which was no more than two hours as Wang was, reported missing. When Zhou realized that he couldn’t, dodge anymore, he’d, admitted to murdering Wang.
The police said, that the surveillance footages are only saved for a week, that two days ago was the last day, and it was only seven hours away, from when the videos get erased by the systems, “God wanted justice for the murder of this man!”
The police found, that the 51-year-old deceased, Wang, and the suspect were both, married, Zhou’s wife and children lived in Nantou, and he worked long-term, driving his cab in Taichung, and was cohabiting with the divorced woman, Liu, they had a daughter together. Two months ago, Zhou abused Liu physically, and Liu poured her heart out to the deceased, and they’d, started in a love affair together.
Zhou saw how Liu was alienating him slowly, believed that the man he’d murdered took his woman from him, last month, he took the deceased to the mountains, beaten him up, and extorted him for $300,000N.T.s, the deceased had, reported to the police on this, then, he’d told the police, that it was personal matter, and didn’t press charges against Zhou.
Zhou’s side occupation was a bone collector, and, on the 30th of last month he’d asked Wang out for a confrontation call, and he’d, already found an abandoned grave in the daytime in the public cemeteries; at 10:30 in the evening, he’d, ambushed outside Wang’s home, and in the night, he saw the victim left his home, and, he’d, strangled him to death, next to his cab, then, lifted Wang’s body to the backseat of his cab, took the body to the public cemetery, to the spot he’d, already dug up, and dumped Wang’s body there.
The family member saw that Wang didn’t come home, and reported him missing; because after Zhou killed Wang, he’d, tried to cover up the fact that Wang was already dead, he’d, left the messages from the public cemeteries on FB “I’m stressed out, I’m going on a trip”, his thinking he was smart had, got him caught, because the police traced the GPS of the cell phone, and, they’d gone to the the public cemetery to search, and because the body wasn’t buried properly, the following day, it’d, started rotting away, and the flies were circling above; plus Wang was a volunteer rescuer, he’d gone on the volunteer search calls as the typhoon in 2008 hit and during the earthquake from a few years back, the members of his fellow search and rescue volunteer team all rushed in, and soon enough, his body was found.
And so, what led to this man’s murder was, love, or rather, because the perp got jealous, of how the woman he was dating fell in love with this other man, and so, he’d, decided, to TAKE his adversary out, thinking he wasn’t, going to get caught, but he had, and now, he’ll be facing, criminal charges of MURDER, and it’s, all because of how the woman he was in love with, fell out of love with him, and started seeing this other man!
