Breaking & Entering into a Residential Home, to Rob a Mother-Daughter Pair, the Police Found it Was Done by Someone They Knew

Being forced, to rob someone?  Or at least, that is, what the migrant worker was, claiming here!  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A man, Ting, last Wednesday, was suspected of breaking and entering into a residential home with a Vietnamese migrant worker, Fang, they were caught, while burglarizing the home, and tied up the mother and daughter pair who were, there, and beaten them up, and took shots of them both nude as leverage; the Shuling Police Substation of Hsinbei City arrested both suspects, and charged them with robbery, forced molestations, sent them to the Hsinbei District Attorney’s Offices.  The police investigated, that Ting knew the homeowner, he’d, made duplicates of the housekeys, and, premeditated the whole thing.

Ting (age 53), is an owner of a plastic export goods factory, and Fang (age 35) is his worker.  The neighbors told, that Ting seemed to have owed some debts, and, recently, there were, the debtors who’d arrived to his place to try to collect, and that may have been why he risked getting caught, robbing the house.

Ting and the homeowner, Lee were good friends for a long time, thy often rode the bicycles to exercise together.  Ting said, that recently, he was pressed by debts, and he’d wanted to borrow over a hundred thousand dollars from Lee to make the pays, but, Lee believed he wasn’t rich and refused to loan him the amount, Ting borrowed the scooter from Lee, and, made duplicates of Lee’s housekeys, and premeditated the robbery.

Ting found the migrant worker, Fang to commit robbery with him, and they were both caught, by the homeowner’s wife and daughter, the two men tied the mother and daughter up, Ting had even, stripped the wife of his friend nude, and took shots of her naked, to use it to threaten her not to call the cops.  The two men worried that they may have, exposed themselves, and intentionally used Fang’s cell phone to communicate with the victims, to prevent being recognized by their voices; but because Fang’s cell phone is in Vietnamese, Ting wasn’t familiar on how to operate it, it took the men a total of six hours, to finish robbing, and in the end, they were able to, get away with $6,500 N.T. in cash.

The police found the two suspects by the surveillance cameras, early yesterday morn, they’d arrested Fang first at the factory, and early in the morn, they arrested Ting at the front of Carrefour in Shulin.  The officer demanded that Ting hand over the cell phone he’d used in the robbery, Ting said, “it was broken, so I’d, tossed it”.  In order to keep the lewd photos from leaking out, the police are currently chasing to find the cell phone.

Fang said, that he was originally against being a part of the robbery, but, Ting threatened to fire him, and because he was beaten a lot, and had his pays deducted by Ting a lot, he’d worried, that if he didn’t comply, he might be fired, and then, his family in Vietnam wouldn’t have his income to help them, and so, he could only, comply.

And so, there’s, that abuse of POWER at play here, because the migrant worker was afraid of being fired from work, and if he was fired, his families back home wouldn’t have enough to get by, that was why, he’d, complied to the owner of his factor’s demands of him, robbing his friend, and, what these men did to the mother and daughter, was awful, and this man had, robbed someone who called him his friend too!
