Without these animals, the country would be unsafe, with all the unknown agricultural products that may be carrying the diseases, getting shipped in, translated…
That day as I got off the airplane, was on my way to enter into the arrival space, as I’d waited for my luggage, there was, this small ripple that started in the midst of the crowd. Two agricultural canine handlers, led the black labs, wearing the agricultural search vestsre black, shiny, they’d, stepped lightly, very proud looking, with their mouths opened, looked like they were, out for a walk. He’d trekked across each and every single passenger dutifully, touched the bags, along with between everybody’s ankles like he was supposed to, his nose was wet and soft, and, it’d, made me smile on the inside. As everybody watched the luggage transporter turning, we were, also, keeping our watchful eye over the dog as well.

Currently, the faustovirus can be spread through the pork products, as he’d sat by the luggage, his human handlers would ask the passenger to open up their bags, to check if they carried the illegal meat products. Those being checked and the handlers, all had that seriousness about them, only this cute canine officer, although, he’d, kept his butt glued to the floor for his next duties, he’d smiled that radiant smile of his, and wagged his tail from left and right.
As the human handler pulled out the forgotten by the passenger rice ball with the pork, BINGO! The canine leapt upward, score!
Because of the rules, this careless passenger must, turn over the rice ball, and couldn’t take it with him. And, that dear canine officer, had, repeatedly, perfectly, performed his duties well, and, as he was about to go and sniff by the legs of the next traveler, he’d, received the rewards he’d earned too—a mouthful of treats. Then, he is going to, embark on his next search, with his human companion officers, to keep the pigs in Taiwan healthy and uninfected.

And so, this, is how the dogs are, doing THEIR jobs, with the humans leading them to, because dogs have a thousand to ten million times better the sense of smell than man does (and yes, I’d, checked the numbers online!!!), that is why, they’d, become a vital part of the airport securities, and, thanks to their hard work, there are, so many illegal things being prevented from getting shipped out or taken into the country.
