Risk-taking behaviors that happened a lot, in the teenage years, gone for a joyride, and ended up, committing vehicular manslaughter, and the “culprit” was, SPEEDING!  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

The seventeen-year-old adolescent, Chuang, in the midnight hours of last night, drove his classmate, Chung, an adolescent female and another young man, Chang from another school out to get some midnight snacks without a driver’s license, as he’d passed the Xing-Dar Road section, as he was dodging a scooter, he’d lost control and run to the opposite of the streets, and hit the 28-year-old mechanic who was heading home from work, the forces were huge, causing the adolescent female, Chung, and the mechanic, Hsieh to die, while Chuang and his other friend, Chang only sustained minor injuries.

Hsieh’s father, who’d lost a son said, his son worked until late in the might, they’d bathed together, and talked, that making his son the meals was the thing he’d looked forward to the most every day, and now, all of these simple happiness can’t occur, nor can he help his son live out his dreams of owning a business, it’d become, a regret of his for the rest of his life.

The adolescent female, Chung (age 17), was from a single-parent family, matured very early, and was, a very good child, she’d gone out with her friends, and lost her life, the family was having a difficult time accepting this.  The D.A. asked the witnesses of the crash, along with those involved, the adolescent, Chuang was afraid of getting ganged up on by the families of the victims of the crash, he’d, hidden in the car, and had his mother appeared, to apologize for him, the families of the deceased were all too furious, “we’d sent them out alive, and, they’d come back, as dead bodies!”

The adolescent, Chuang who’d caused these two fatalities driving without a license is a third-year student at a private technical high school in the night division, he’d worked in the food factories during the daytime, is very independent in his teacher’s eyes, and, showed up for his classes every single day.

The police believed, that Chuang recently spent $90,000N.T. online to buy a motorcycle, he’s used to driving a car regularly.

As the police arrived at the crash site, they’d originally thought that Chuang sped too fast and lost control, and rammed into the oncoming traffic, that the motorist, Hsieh couldn’t dodge him, the two cars hit, with such force, the sedan flipped over, the parts scattered all around, Hsieh died on impact, Chung, the adolescent female who was riding on the back was ejected from the car, and, died.

The adolescent who’d caused the crash, Chuang sat dumbfounded on sight, and, told the police he was driving at 90 kilometers an hour (the speed limit was 50kph), that he was dodging a motorcycle ahead of him, that was why he’d lost control; the police reviewed over the traffic cam, found Weng (age 62), the motorist in question who was passing by.

Weng stated, that as he’d ridden out from Wen-Hwa Road, he was headed over to the opposite side of the streets for his midnight snack, as he rode across the streets, he’d heard a car braking, he’d, ridden to the right of the streets to dodge it, and the very next second, the crash had, happened, he’d lost his appetite for the midnight snacks, and he’d not think he was a cause of the crash, he’d gone home to sleep.

The police stated, that as Chuang, the adolescent drove down the bridge, he should’ve slowed down but didn’t, and, the motorist ahead of him, Weng was, partially responsible for the crash, both were charged with vehicular manslaughter, and taken into custody.

And so, two people died, but, like the police had noted, it wasn’t, just the teenager’s fault, the motorist was also, partially responsible for causing the crash, but the bigger fault lies in the teenager, he’d driven without a license, and was speeding, which in turn, caused this man who was only passing by, and the girl he was driving to die, and so, the teen should be made to pay!
