Entrusting her own INFANT son who wasn’t even close to being qualified to take care of young children, and, it’d resulted in the young infant boy’s death! From the Front Page Sections, translated…
A Runaway Indonesian Migrant Worker Gave Birth to an Infant Son Seven Months Ago, She’d Left Her Son in the Car of a Nanny from Her Same Hometown, Her Son Was Abused, Early Yesterday Morning in the Hours of Midnight, the Infant Had Subdural Hematoma and Was in Critical Condition, He Was Rushed to the Hospital, and After the Surgeries, He is still in Critical Life-Threatening Danger; the Police Arrested the Nanny of “Sally”, Who was Also a Runaway Migrant Worker, She’d Denied Having Abused the Infant, But Couldn’t Tell the Police How the Baby Boy Had Sustained His Injuries, the Police & D.A. are Currently Trying to Figure Out What Had Happened.
The police told, that the key players in this case were all Indonesian migrant workers, the 37-year-old father of the infant boy was a legal construction worker, the 34-year-old mother entered into Taiwan back in 2013, she’d originally worked as a household burse, she ran away this June. They met and moved in together, had two sons, the eldest was two, and the social services department placed him, seven months ago, she gave birth to her second son.
Because the father of the infant boy works at a construction site, the mother took a caretaking job illegally too, a week ago, through the LINE group of her fellow Indonesians, she’d found the thirty-one year-old nanny, Sally. Sally originally works as a nurse in Taichung, she ran away this May, and, took on the nanny jobs privately.
The parents of the young infant boys told, that started at six in the evening on the second of this month, they’d given their infant son to be cared for around the clock at the cost of $14,000N.T. a month to Sally. And because they weren’t acquainted enough, they’d asked her to use webcam to show them how their son was. And, as they’d contacted her on the fifth of this month, their son was still active, but they couldn’t get a hold of Sally starting on the sixth.
Early yesterday morning at around six, Sally called them up, told them that something wasn’t quite right with their son, as the parents rushed over, the child was barely breathing, and his body turned cold already, the three of them took a cab, and took the infant boy to the Wanfang Hospital in Taipei, the physicians confirmed that the infant male had multiple hematoma in his brain, and, there were, bruises on both his thighs too, the hospital suspected abuse, and immediately notified the police and the Social Services Department, and, Sally, after she’d left a false identity, she’d, escaped.
The police inquired the mother of infant boy, and found that Sally was staying at a rented suite in Sanchong, two evenings ago, they’d gone there, to arrest her, and found that the suite next door were also, rented out to two escaped migrant workers, that they too, were taking care of a young child that their friend had out of wedlock.
As the police inquired, Sally denied the allegations of abuse, that the infant boy would cry through the nights, keeping her up all night long, that early yesterday morn, she’d found him to have lost consciousness, she’d carried him up and shaken him hard, how the bruises had, happened.
Sally told the police, that the couple next door also helped her “resuscitate” the infant boy, the police took all three of them in, and charged them with physical assault.
And so, there’s, obviously, NOBODY you can trust with your young, like in this case, the woman entrusted her own son to someone whom she was, an acquaintance with, and, look where it got her young infant son? And, these runaway migrant workers already had too much on their plates to handle, and, so, they are, ill-fitted, to help out with taking care other people’s young children.
