A Man, Wu, with a History of Domestic Violence, was Suspected of Stabbing His Wife and Son after He Was Intoxicated in the Midnight Hours Yesterday, Then Pouring Acid Over Them, the Mother and Son are now, in the I.C.U., being Intubated, they’re Both in Critical Condition. Wu went Missing after His Acts of Violence, the Police Officials in Taichung Found Him to Have Committed Suicide in the Empty Lot Close by His Home in the Afternoon Yesterday.
The Taichung Domestic Violence Prevention Center stated, that Wu once worked as a painter, was an alcoholic, worked with his wife, and son. Two years ago, he was reported for domestic violence, the Department of Social Services intervened back then, and found that the couple were cold toward each other, but because there were, adult children living at home, after staying with them for a couple of months, they believed that nobody’s life was being threatened, they’d, closed the case. The couple were distanced from one another, because they didn’t get along, recently, his wife mentioned divorce to him, which was suspected of what made him crack, which led him to murdering his wife and hurting his own son.
The police found, that Wu (age 58), at around one in the morning yesterday, was suspected of getting into a verbal altercation with his fifty-four-year-old wife and his thirty-four-year-old son, was suspected of stabbing them multiple times, and, poured acid over their bodies, then, ran from the residence. The neighbors said, they’d heard arguments coming from their home, then, someone called out “HELP!”, the neighbors found Wu’s son was bleeding from his neck, that smoke was coming out of Wu’s wife’s clothes and body, they’d immediately called the police, as the police arrived, they’d, taken them both to the hospital.
The hospital told, that Wu’s wife’s eyes, face, neck, and chest were all severely burned by strong acid, that after they’d rinsed her eyes with water, she was, okay, but because she was forced to swallow the strong acid, they’d already, intubated her out of caution; and on her right neck, right chest, and her right palms, were the, defensive knife wounds, which caused her tendon to be severed, although they’d stitched her up immediately, there may be effects of her right hand functioning in the future.
The son’s face, arms, and chest were burned by the strong acid, there were, ten-percent of third-degree burns on his body, mostly were on his face, and, because he may have, inhaled in the strong acid, they’d, intubated him out of caution, placed him in the I.C.U. for observations, and, there were knife wounds on his neck and abdomen, and, the neck wound was deeper, while the wound on his abdomen was only surface, after they’d patched him up, he was having no problems.
And so, this, is how this man had, attempted murdered his wife, and his own son, and ended up, killing himself too. There are, traces of violence, always, it’s just, that people tend to, miss out on the warning signs, and, what sparked this man’s act of violence against his family, was how the marriage was, on the rocks, but that’s still NO excuse, to try and MURDER his wife and son!!!
