This verifies the VITAL importance, of reading to your own children! Translated…
My almost six nephew is really active, the eight adults in my grandmother’s house needed to take turns, playing games with him, and, as the adults became tired out, and wanted to rest, the little guy is still, with so much energy, and kept begging the adults, to take him out to ride (at the age of four, he’d learned to ride his bicycle, and currently, he only complained of how thirsty he got after riding seven, to eight kilometers at a time, he doesn’t complained about how tired he became), and, it’d made us wonder, could he be, A.D.H.D.?
like this???
Once before the vacations were over, the adults were, about to return to our own separate work posts, and that was when our nephew looked so miserably and asked us, “Then, who will stay here and accompany me?”, and, as we’d heard the keywords, “accompany” , his second aunt bought a picture version of “Journey to the West” with the phonetic spelling, on the one side, it can help him practice the phonetic spellings he was already learning in kindergarten, on the other, he could go with the monk and his three apprentices, on the journey, as everybody worked together, to get the Buddhist volumes from the west. What was surprising was, he’d gotten, really into the stories, and he’d told us he was, like the Monkey King too!
There are a ton of families that had, utilized the “electronic babysitter” to accompany the children, and, in the overexposures of the lights, and the sound, more is lost, than is gained, seeing how my youngest nephew was willing, to sit still, to learn to read the words by phonetics, to slowly understand what the story was about from the illustrations, it’d, proven, that the love of reading, IS acquired at a young age.
You don’t need to spent a ton of money, just find a fitting book, find a little time, stay by your children. What the kids are in need of, is nothing more than you being there with them, and, with the interactions shared in reading, it can also help, steady the child’s mind, there are, multiple pros to reading with a young child.
what parents SHOULD be doing with their children when they’re still young enough…
This is, totally true, but, in this day and age, we, adults are, all way too freaking busy, working, making ends meet, who can find the time, to spend with one’s own young, to play, and to read, right? It’s easier, to park those small butts, in front of an iPad anyways!!!
And that, is how children are lost, in the process of, growing up, because NONE of you, god DAMN parents KNOW how important it is, to accompany your young as they grow up, and, DO remember, STUPID (‘cuz that, is what you all are!!!) adults, there’s only, ONE childhood per child, no more!!!
