The five-year-old young girl, Huang was so thin that she resembled a sheet of paper, she’d only weighed nine kilograms when the police found her, half of the average weight of children her age; at the end of last year, because she lost control over her bodily functions, she was beaten up by her parents, and when they took her to the hospitals the next day, she’d died; the parents admitted to physically disciplining the young child, but claimed it wasn’t intentional murder, the Taoyuan District Court charged both her parents with manslaughter yesterday, sentenced the young girl’s father to nine years ten months sentence, the courts is starting another trial for the child’s mother soon.
Huang (age 37) and his wife, Liao (age 34) have two sons and daughter together, because they were displeased at how their daughter had gone to the toilets all over the places, and after they’d scolded her, and the situation didn’t improve, they’d started, physically disciplining her.
On December sixteenth of last year, Huang lost emotional control again, because of his daughter’s potty training problems, he’d used a hanger, and physically abused the child on her palms, her feet and her back, and he’d even, kicked her stomach as well, he’d caused the iron hanger to bent out of shape.
At two in the afternoon the following day, the girl, due to the abuse, started bleeding internally, plus the external head injuries, she’d fallen limp, and went into shock, the child’s parents realized that something was really wrong, they’d immediately taken their daughter to the hospital for emergency resuscitation, but she’d still died.
The courts found, that the five-year-old young girl only weighed nine kilograms, and her height was only eighty-two centimeter, that she was, considerably, smaller in size compared to children her age, Huang and his wife not only didn’t take her into treatment, they’d claimed, “she was born this way, her small frame was due to malnutrition”, the courts suspected the couple had been, abusing the child. Although Huang admitted to beating his own daughter, he’d claimed, “I didn’t use that much force!”, and Huang’s wife was crying, with her hand covering her face, said she’d, regretted what she’d done.
The couple insisted it was, unintentional that they’d, murdered their own young; the child’s older brother testified, that the parents were very kind to him and his younger brother, but was very strict toward his younger sister; Huang’s wife begged on her husband’s behalf, claimed that he was very kind toward their sons, and wanted him to serve his sentence quickly, and come home to be with his sons.
The courts believed, that Huang, as a father, should be protective and kind, and teaching his young daughter, but instead, had irrationally, beaten her to death, because she couldn’t control when and where she goes to the bathroom, sentenced him to nine years ten months sentence.
Uh, hello, hello, hello??? A CHILD is DEAD, and this LOSER father only received almost a DECADE? How’s that justice, huh? And, if you ask me, the mother should get JAILED too, because she’d, watched her husband beaten up her young daughter, and did NOTHING to protect her own baby girl!
