A woman Wu, two mornings ago, took her two-months-old daughter in critical condition to the E.R., left her there, then, left immediately, later on, the infant girl died, of, unknown causes; the police caught up with Wu, she told them she was in a panic, that was why she’d, just, dumped her own infant, denied having abused her daughter. Wu had priors in drug abuse, the police and D.A. didn’t believe her claims, they are working the case as a negligence, they will be autopsying the infant girl, to clear the causes of her death tomorrow.
The police found, the twenty-eight-year-old Wu has two children, the two-year-old eldest son was with her ex, the dead infant girl, was with her current, twenty-four-year-old husband, Hsiao; about ten days ago, Hsiao was sent to the rehab, Wu took her two young children, left her husband’s home, moved in with a friend.
Two mornings at around eleven, the Yilan Police received the call from the hospital, that a young infant, of not yet two-months old was taken to the hospital, without signs of life, that although she’d shown no visible external injuries, she’d died, after the hospital’s attempts of resuscitating her, and, the woman who’d dropped the infant girl off, was nowhere to be found.
The surveillance footages showed, that the woman rushed on her scooter to the Yangming University Hospital two mornings ago at around ten, looking nervous, with her infant daughter in her arms, she’d, run into the E.R. to get help, back then, the infant had, already stopped breathing, as the hospital tried to resuscitate the infant, the woman walked out of the E.R., left on her scooter.
The police reviewed the surveillance tapes, and tracked down the license plate, and found Wu, she’d told them, that on the 27th, the infant girl was having a hard time falling asleep, she’d not fallen asleep until two in the morning, two days ago, and she’d gone to check up on her daughter at ten thirty in the morn, and, the infant’s lips had, turned purple, and had, stopped breathing, she’d, immediately, rushed her baby to the hospital.
The police said, the infant showed NO sign of external injuries, and the hospital couldn’t be certain of the cause of death, they’re investigating the reason of her death, to see if it was caused by negligence, or something else.
The Social Services Department stated, that in September of this year, Wu and her family was, just listed as high risk family, they’d sent the social workers to the home, and, took the young boy into government custody.
And so, a young child doesn’t just DIE, for no reasons at all, there must’ve been abuse, OR neglect, that’s caused this young infant girl to die, and, the way the mother left her young in the E.R., proves it!
