They’d Only Been Dating for Three Months, He’d, Strangled His Girlfriend to DEATH

Love became, possessiveness, and, turned to MURDER, all too quickly here!  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A man, Hong, in Kaohsiung two nights ago, strangled his own girlfriend, Tseng, whom he’d only begun dating, three months ago to death, because the woman wanted to break up with him, he’d lost his control, and, committed the murder, afterwards, he’d, accompanied her body for a whole day; as the police examined the woman’s body, they’d found there to be scratch marks on her, but the rooms were, very clean, they’d suspected that Hong had, cleaned up the crime scene after he’d, murdered his girlfriend.  Yesterday, the D.A.’s offices charged him with murder, and the judge granted the rights of him being taken into custody, and there are still, many things that the police and investigators needed to look further into.

Tseng’s family stated, that before the victim left home, she’d told them “I’m getting my boyfriend his supper”, but, she’d ended up, murdered by him.  Before Tseng left, she’d called up her boyfriend, and the families found nothing out of the ordinary, they’d suspected that Hong wasn’t telling the whole truth, and believed that he didn’t murder her in the heat of the moment, but instead, he had, planned it.

The Ling-Ya Substation of Kaohsiung city police investigated, that Hong (age 28) and Tseng (age 36), were both contracting employees of a mechanical plant, they’d been dating for about three months.  Hong lived on his own at his resident on Henan Road, in Ling-Ya District, his parents would visit for stays every now and then.  On the day of the murder, the 22nd, Hong’s parents traveled to the mid strip, they had NO clue their son committed a murder.

Two evenings ago at 7:30, Hong called the police station, turned himself in, confessed, “I’d killed my girlfriend”, and guided the officers to the bedroom on the second floor, of the “scene of the crime” where Tseng was found, lying flat on the bed, she’d already been dead for hours.  The police found scratch marks on Hong’s abdomen, but, there was NO sign of struggle in the bedroom, they’re now, grooming through the facts, to piece together what had happened.  After the D.A. and police confiscated both their cell phones, they’d found that a lot of messages in the phones were, deleted.

The police reviewed over the surveillance on the roads nearby, at around a little after six in the evening, Tseng rode up on her scooter to Hong’s residence on her own.  The following morning at around eight, Hong rode out on his own for a bit, he’d told them he’d gone to the convenience marts to buy some cigarettes to smoke.  Hong told the police, that his bedroom was, originally, very orderly, that he’d not, intentionally, cleaned it up, that all the messages he’d deleted in his cell phone, were junk messages.

Hong claimed, that after the fight they had on the evening of the 22nd, because his girlfriend spoke of breaking up with him, he’d lost control, and strangled his girlfriend.  Later, he’d found that she wasn’t, moving, and was shocked to realize, that he’d murdered her, and, accompanied her body for a day, then, turned himself in, to the police.  But, the police and D.A. believed that he’d kept, the details to himself, that there are still, many points in question that they needed to check into further.

And so, it looks like (for now!), that this man had murdered his girlfriend, because she wanted to break up, they got into a fight, and he’d, lost control, that it was, a crime of passion that’s, happened in the heat of the moment, but then, the police found that messages on their cell phones were, deleted, which added to the doubts in the case, and so, they would, need to, recover the deleted messages first, before they make the correct calls on exactly, what had, happened.
