The Couple Burned Charcoal and Died, Only Their Dog Survived

And, the only one that survived this, still can’t tell us what happened, tragedy struck, on the Front Page Sections, translated…

Last night, a rented suite in Datong District in Taipei wreaked of rancid smells, the neighbors called up the police to check, the police found that the lovers who resided there, Fei and Weng had died, from suicide, from burning charcoal, they’d been dead for a long time; and what was strange was, the pet Corgi didn’t have a scratch on it, the police turned the dog over to animal protections, and are now, looking into the cause of death of the couple.

The police stated, that the site was on the second floor of a residential building on Dalong Street, the alleys were narrow down below, the deceased were the 46-year-old male, Fei and his 39-year-old female cohabiting partner, Weng, with the tranquilizer prescribed by a doctor on the scene, but there wasn’t, any last notes.

The two lived in the location for over five years, the man was a drunk, the woman used ketamine, they don’t seem to have stable job, the neighbors told, “as the night rolled in, it was their world.”, that they’d heard a ton of noises coming from their apartment.

Awhile ago, a neighbor smelled something rancid, and reported it to the man in charge of the local borough, and, last night, the police and fire department arrived to check it out, they’d ended up, broken into the apartment by taking down the steel window frames, and the police and fire department found the couple dead, with a pot of burned charcoal in the room.  There was, also, a Corgi, with stable signs, and unharmed, it didn’t get affected by the fumes from the charcoal burning; because the police found no last note, they’d called up the families, to understand the causes of their deaths.

And so, we don’t really know what happened here, but, this couple had, committed suicide together, and it’s sad, that nobody in the neighborhood even cared to ask or to knock on their doors to see if everything was all right.  But hey, that, is how the world worked, everybody looks out for her/himself these days, and we don’t care about our neighbors, until, they’d, affected our own lifestyles…
