Her Younger Brother Committed a Crime Again, the Older Sister Sighed: Giving Him Ten Million Dollars Still Didn’t Help Him Turn His Life Around

Time served, and still, he’d, gotten in trouble with the law, repeatedly, crime AND punishment, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

The man, Lin shot a man, Chen in the stomach at a hotel yesterday morning, after Chen was taken to the hospital, he was out of critical danger.  In no more than an hour’s time after Lin was out on the run, he was arrested, his older sister rushed to the station to see him, and told the officers, that from before her younger brother committed a crime and had served in jail, after he got out, she’d given him ten million dollars N.T. to help him start over in life, “but he didn’t change”.

The police charged Lin with attempted murder after the interrogations, and sent him to the Taipei D.A.’s Office, the district attorneys, after interrogating him, asked the courts of mandate his custody on his serious crimes of attempted murder and that he may corroborate his testimonies with someone else.

The investigations found, that Lin and Chen met in rehab, and the police didn’t rule out that they may have disagreements on drugs, but as Lin was taken into custody, he’d not told them the truth, and the victim, Chen didn’t want to tell the police anything either, other than taking an urine sample from Lin, the reason for the shooting was still pending investigation.

The police pointed out, that Lin (age 45) at around six in the morning yesterday, was with his Vietnamese girlfriend, entered into the hotel to rest.  At nine when he was about to check out, Chen (age 30) and Lu had, gone to the hotel room to see him, the two parties talked for about two hours in the room, then, gunshot went off, Lin injured Chen with a gun, and afterward, he’d, escaped from the hotel with his girlfriend, walked about a kilometer, and returned back to the residence, he’d wanted his girlfriend, Chen to get the money so they can be on the run.

The police received the calls, and immediately gone to Lin’s residence to wait for him, as he saw the officers there, Lin started running.  After the police chased him for couple of hundred of meters, the police jumped him, and subdued him to the ground, and found a Glock and thirteen bullets inside his backpack.

Based off of investigations, in 1994, Lin had committed a murder in Wenshan District, was sentenced to fifteen years, and after he’d served seven, he was paroled out; in 2004, he’d committed the shooting of a gangster, Lin in a local hotel, sent to prison again, he got out just last May.

At the end of January this year, after he got high, he’d, opened fire and injured Fang, a woman from China, and was charged with attempted murder and other charges; in his parole, he was found to have gun in his possession by the city police, and there were two more cases he was involved in pending investigation currently.

Lin said, that yesterday he had some private business with Chen, Chen kept using his cell phone, he suspected that Chen was photographing him, sending the image to the police, that was why he’d shown his gun to scare him, but, as Chen saw him pulled out a gun, he’d, attempted to get it away from him, that was how the gun accidentally fired, and he’d shot Chen in the stomach.

And so, this is a man, with a VERY long rap sheet, and, he’d served time in jail, but still hadn’t changed his ways, and he’s, destined for a life of crimes, and, it’s best, that the police, lock him back up again, and he never gets out, because more than likely, if he ever gets out again, he will surely, commit another crime like this one again!
