A Two-Month-Old Infant Was Registered as a Handicapped Person, Was Beaten to Handicap by His Own Father

How can any parent be so cruel, to such a young child, it’s just, unimaginable!  Bad news off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

A man, Liu in Hsinbei City was accused of abusing his own newborn son, causing the infant to suffer brain damage, when the infant was only two months old, he was registered as a handicap; Liu claimed, that his son’s internal brain injuries were probably caused by getting bumped around on the scooters, but the medical reports had, busted his lies.  The Taipei District Court found him guilty on SIX counts of domestic violence, intentionally harming a young child, and mandated that Liu serve the total NINE years he was sentenced to in sum, this can still be appealed.

Liu’s wife gave birth at the end of February in 2015, but because he’d lost his job, he’d, felt low, and, shortly after the son was born, he’d started, abusing his child.  In May of 2015, Liu rushed his son into the Tzu-Chi Hospital in Taipei, and the hospital reported to the domestic violence prevention center; in April of 2016, the son returned home, and started getting abused again, and was reported by the Hsinbei Heavenly Father Hospital to the police.

During the trial, Liu denied the allegations of physical abuse, and the physicians testified, that the infant’s injuries “can’t be explained by the crib shaking, the scooter passing through uneven roads.”, and because the infant can’t turn on his stomach, and couldn’t focus his eyes, there’s, a very slight chance he’ll ever recover fully.  The judge believed, that after the infant was taken in for diagnoses, he showed signs of delayed development, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy already, and was registered as a handicap person, that the extent to which he was injured was beyond repair.

Another CASE, of brutal abuse endured by an INFANT child, and, this is very sad, but it’s still, happening all around, because parents will always make excuses for themselves, their jobs aren’t going well, the house is a mess when they came home, the kids getting too noisy, blah-blah-blah, and abuses like this just, keeps on happening, and this, is just one of many, and this is nowhere NEAR ending Y-E-T!
