A Child with Osteogenesis Imperfecta Became a Tour Guide at an Ancient Sight…It’d Made Her Mother Cry

How driven this young girl had been in, going to school for an education, despite her own special circumstances here, from the Newspapers, translated…

The Young Girl Was Turned Away by Multiple Kindergartens for Registration, “It’d Been a Very Long Road for Her to Go to School”, and Now, Seeing Her Daughter about to Graduate, Growing Up Happy, Her Mother Thanked the Shengkeng Elementary’s Kindergarten Program for Accepting Her.

The seven-year-old Sunny had been diagnosed with osteogenesis imperfecta, and had been turned away by multiple kindergartens, she’d still kept her optimistic outlook on her life.  For over two years, because of her “mother’s love”, the school finally accepted her, she’d made a ton of friends, and, Sunny had, even volunteered herself in the programs of the kindergarten became a “tour guide for the ancient residences”, and, worked hard, took the tourists, to introduce them to the wonders of the ancient residences, she’d become, the brightest little star around.

Sunny’s mother was very moved, that going to school, for ordinary children, is a simple thing, but for children with her daughter’s condition, it’d been, a very, long road.

The manager of the kindergarten section of the local elementary school, Chien said, that Sunny has a sunny temperament, other than needing the protective gears for her body, and needed someone to help her use the restrooms, she was able to, do what every child her age did; before starting in kindergarten, she’d wanted to go to school, but never threw tantrums about it, the thing she’d looked forward to the most, was for her older brother in the elementary years to come home, to share with her the interesting that happened in class during his day.

Sunny’s mom, in order to get her into school, visited multiple kindergartens, but, they’d told her they had a lacking in personnel, and turned her down, as she was about to give up, she’d, carried what hope she had left to Shenkeng Elementary’s kindergarten program, her mother’s love had, moved all the instructors, Molly Chien smiled and said, “putting up more time, and having more staff member to help with her learning, that’s no big deal”.

and here’s the child, acting as a tourguide, taking children her age on a tour, photo from the newspapers online…

Chien told, that Sunny cherished every single day in class, and as she’d learned she can volunteer as the tour guide for the ancient stays, she’d, volunteered herself.

At first, her mother worried about her getting hurt, and had, gone with her and the rest of her classmates to the tour guide lessons, after a couple of times, as she saw how happy her daughter was, worked so very well with her classmates, she’d, let go, and allowed her daughter to grow up happy.

As Sunny graduated, her mother cried, and thanked Molly Chien, “Seeing how Sunny introduced the ancient stays to the tourists, I was, so very moved, going to school for ordinary children, is quite easy, but for a child with osteogenesis imperfecta, it’d been, a very, long, hard road.”  Sunny smiled and said, “Teacher, I will come back and visit you soon!”

Despite this young child’s health conditions, it still, didn’t deter her from her dreams, and, her mother worked hard too, to find a school that will, take her in, due to her condition, and, the experience of her kindergarten had, set the paces for her learning, it’d, helped her fall in love with getting an education, thanks to the school, for accepting this special needs child!
