Worried about Getting Scolded by Her Father, She Gave Birth to Her Son, Left Him by the Side of the Road and He Died

The woman, Lai gave birth at home last week, but didn’t know who the infant’s father was, and because she had many partners, and worried that she might get yelled at by her father, two days ago, she’d, placed her infant son into a handbag, and left him on the footboard of someone else’s motorcycle, causing him to die.  Lai claimed that she’d hoped that someone kind would take her son home and raise him, after the D.A. interrogated her, they had the courts set her bail at $30,000N.T.s.

The police investigated and found, that Lai had gone out with her friends often to drink, and after she got drunk, she’d had sex with men, and she’d gotten pregnant twice already, not knowing who the fathers were; as Lai was giving her statement, she was originally very together, but as Lai’s father came to the station, and started grilling her on not telling him anything, that she’d, caused her own young son to die, she’d cracked and started melting down.

The police pointed out, that two days ago, as the man, Yo was headed off to work, he’d parked his scooter on Zhongzhen Second Road in Yinge, Hsinbei City, there was a silver purse by the footboard of the motorcycle that’s parked next to his, he’d not paid it any mind, and as he got off work, he’d found that the purse was then, on his motorcycle baseboard, he’d looked in, and found that there was a dead body inside, and immediately notified the police.

The police came and made sure that the infant boy had died, and the preliminary showed, that he’d died of asphyxia from lacking enough oxygen, the D.A.s and the police are going to have an autopsy to find the precise cause of death, and they’d reviewed over the surveillance, and found the woman who’d dumped the infant male, and two evenings ago, they took Lai into custody.

Lai claimed, that on the afternoon of the 18^th, she’d given birth in her own bathroom, and because three years ago she’d given birth, not knowing who the infant’s father was, she got grilled by her father, and this time, she’d not dared let her father find out, and thought of putting her own newborn son into someone else’s purse on the 20^th.

Lai stated that as she placed her own young, he was still alive, she’d hoped that someone kind would take him and raise him as her/his own son, it wasn’t until the police came to her door, did she learn, about the death of her infant son; because Lai is also the guardian of a three-year-old boy, after the social workers assessed the situation, they’d had Lai’s father take him back home to care for, and listed the family as “high-risk”.

The police found that Lai worked as a hairstylist, and in logistics, is currently unemployed, lived with her son, and her father; because she’s heavyset, that was why her father didn’t realize that she was, pregnant again.

And so, due to this woman’s fearing getting scolded by her own father, she’d, made the wrong decisions, of leaving her own newborn infant in this hot weather, in someone else’s vehicle, and that’s, resulted in this young infant’s death, and it’s due to her negligence, that her own young son had, died.
