El Salvador had cut off its diplomatic ties with Taiwan recently, and we only have seventeen countries that are still on good terms with us, and this was, expected.
Especially, as President Tsai went to Paraguay and Belize, passing across the U.S., just in time, for the U.S. to pass the Taiwan Travel Acts, and President Trump had, signed “the National Defense Authorizations Act”, which showed his intentions of using Taiwan as a leverage with China, and, the Taiwanese government sees this as a breakthrough, and Communist China fought, as President Tsai returned, China announced its diplomatic ties being established with el Salvador, which, once again, trapped President Tsai externally, and internally.
I’m not trying to erase all the efforts that the government had done in diplomacy, nor am I, pointing out, that Communist China is, trying, to impact Taiwan’s place in the world, I’m merely, reminding Tsai and her government, that as U.S. and China are on good terms with each other, Communist China is more tolerant of Taiwan; and if the ties between China and U.S. worsened, then, China would see Taiwan as its enemies.
I truly hope, that the president can take the mind of having her people’s best interests in mind, to reboost Taiwan’s economy, and NOT get trapped by the populist diplomacy again!
Yeah, uh, that, just showed, how FUCKING (and your point being???) BLIND the people’s elected Taiwanese president is, she thought, wow, I passed through U.S. that must mean something! Well guess what? Taiwanese citizens are allowed to travel to the U.S., to pass the borders of U.S. to go elsewhere, so what? You still, RUN the diplomatic relations that Taiwan had to the ground, by standing UP against China, and China is bad too, keep on, trying to, POUND Taiwan’s HEAD to the ground!
