The Yu-Huang Bar was suspected of forcing TWELVE underage teenage girls to be accompany drinkers, and, pays them only $200N.T.s for three hours of work at the bars, an adolescent female could no longer put up with the drinkers’ touching her, ran away from the bar, then, reported it to the police. The police searched the bar, arrested Sun, the female store manager, her boyfriend, Chen, and fourteen other adults, and, sent them all in for breaking laws against solicitations, Sun and Chen are both out on a $50,000N.T. bail.
The youngest of twelve adolescent accompanying drinker was only fourteen, the six out of the twelve were sent to the halfway house, taken into protective custody, the rest were sent home to their parents. But based off of understanding, after the bar was found by the police on the seventh of this month, it’d only stopped operating for two days, then, continued open for business, the representatives of the bar even posted the ads of “Young women tonight!”, to get the old customers back in, as the parents of the adolescent females learned about this, they all got angry, believed that the behaviors of the bar was, out of control.
The Sanchong Police Substation stated, that this May, they’d, received an anonymous tip, pointed out how this bar had underage adolescents who worked as bargirls, but, as the police went to check unannounced each and every week, they’d not caught the minors present, and so, the police didn’t shut the bar down, and from here on out, the police will enforce the checks, to make sure, that no teens get caught in there.
Based off of understanding, a 16-year-old girl saw a want ad for the bar, plus she had a friend who works there, and so, she’d, entered into the working crew with the introduction of the agent, Chang; the bar manager, Sun (age 44), wanted the teen to keep the patrons company, to sing, to pour the alcohol for them, and she’s paid $200N.T.s for the three hours, and, she gets to keep all the tips from the customers.
As she started working, she was, molested by a lot of the customers, they stuck their hands down into her clothes, she’d complained to Sun and Sun threatened her to keep working, to keep the customers satisfied, claimed, that the bar will charge the customers extra, that if she didn’t comply, then, she will deduct her pay.
As the Taipei City Police Department received the tips, they’d found, that there may be teenage girls who mistakenly, entered into this trap of part-time work, that a lot of the teens could no longer take the sexual molestations, they’d, run away on their own. The five stations across Taipei and Hsinbei City worked together, and sent the officers to collect the physical evidence against the bar. The officers found, that as the operators of the bar found that police are coming in, they’d had the teens head out of the eighth floor fire escape, and after the police checks, they’d, returned back to work again.
The police searched the bar on the seventh of this month, and, arrested the owner of the pub, Sun, and eight others, they’d arrested seven related individuals to the bar, and took in all the drinkers, and the ladies working in the bars, a total of thirty-five others. There was a 60-year-old woman, Tsai, who was responsible for “assigning the shifts”, as she learned, that the police are onto them, she’d called in the teenage girls, to tell them, “if the police asks, you tell them you don’t know, that you didn’t come here!”
And so, because there’s, still this HUGE market for these bad things, that is why, this is, currently happening, and, these teens can only see what’s right before them, getting offered a ton of money for work, doing almost nothing, but sitting at the bars, and accompanying the adult drinkers, they thought it was, easy money, without realizing, that they’re, entering into a TRAP that they won’t get out of that easily!
