As he’d turned himself in, Kuo first claimed that he thought he’d ran into a light pole, that he’d not known he’d hit someone, that was why, he drove off, then, later on, admitted that he didn’t want to get caught, that was why he’d hit and run. Although, the police can no longer tell if he was drinking, but Kuo had two priors in drunk driving, and the local D.A.’s offices after interrogation, charged him with manslaughter, and asked the district court to have him taken into custody, which the courts allowed for.
Based off of understanding, the victim, Ni was the only son in his family, he has an older sister; he’d been excellent in the academia, very gentle and kind toward others, he’d made straight A’s since high school, all the way to university, in his high school years, he’d represented his school in the international physics Olympics, and the accident had caused his loved ones a ton of distress.
As the D.A examined the body, Ni’d families saw Kuo there, and they were, all very angry, tried to hit him, Ni’s older sister screamed, “give me my brother back!”, the family was in distress, it’d, impacted everyone who was there.
The police discovered a partial Toyota plate, suspected that it was from the hit and run, and they’d reviewed the traffic cams, and found that it was Kuo’s car that was involved in the wreck.
And so, this, is really awful, and, that just showed, how you shouldn’t get behind the wheels drunk, because even IF you don’t get caught this time, you’d still, put yourselves, and the lives of others on the road in danger, and, who knows, even IF you got lucky before, who’s to say, that you won’t kill someone like this man had?
