Why it’s important, to keep studying hard, not just because it would get you into a good enough university or college, but because, this hardworking attitude of yours, will carry you well, through the rest of your lives, “children”! From the Front Page Sections, translated…
It’s time, too see our former high school grads off, and to usher in the next generations of new high schooler, no matter what school the kids get into, as teachers, and parents, we should all, keep encouraging our young, to work hard in their studies, to keep learning new things.
There were, several native students, who’d, selected to enroll into the First All-Male and First All-Female High School in Taichung, this was their wish, and they should have the awareness, that the future won’t be easy for them, but, as they’d, readied themselves, they must, work as hard as they possibly can.
And naturally, most of the students, they’d, selected the local regions of the high schools in the community, there were those, with the grades which will allow them to enter into an all-star high school, but, because of the distance from the schools, to reduce the expenses, and besides, with the new plans, so long as they’re hardworking, they have the opportunities, to enter into the ideal university of their choices.
As middle school students enter into high school, it’s, another stage in their lives. There are those who’d, entered into the all-star high schools, but, stopped working as hard as they had back in middle school, and, their grades dropped, and there are naturally, those, who are, studious, and hardworking all the way, who are, tested into, good universities too.
Remembered how thirty some odd years ago, our middle school instructor encouraged us, “Study hard, to get good grades, so you get to select the school you want to study in, instead of allowing the schools, to decide which one of you to admit.” Thinking back, the instructor was telling us to focus on our studies continually. The school doesn’t have anything to do with your level of knowledge, nor would it offer the guarantees of which university you will enter into in the futures.
And so, this, is busting up the myths, of how if you’re an all-star high school student, you’re, automatically, guaranteed a spot into a top-notch university, and yet, there are people here, who are, still, living with that myth, thinking that, so long they were admitted into a top-notch high school, they can blow off their studies, and do well on their college entrance, and enter into a top-notch university, and, they will be fine, well, the problems is, you can get into that famous, reputable university, but, can you get out of it, in just FOUR years???
