The Taipei District Attorney’s Offices checked into the cases of insurance fraud, they’d found, the scam artist mother-son pair, Chang and Lee, worked alongside with the orthopedist, from N.T.U. Hospital, Hong, written out three hundred false diagnosis, and, made the fraudulent claims to the national health insurance agency for over $70 million N.T.s. And Hong received nearly two million dollars worth of payback, and the mother and son pair split up the $15 million N.T.s, yesterday, the D.A.’s offices indicted all three individuals on fraud.
Hong is the doctor of the orthopedics department in N.T.U., graduated out of the medical department of Taipei University, a candidate of Medical Engineering department of N.T.U., specializing in osteoporosis, and the micro surgeries to correct the joints. The N.T.U. Hospital stated, that Hong is currently in the U.S., working on furthering his knowledge in medicine, that N.T.U. will comply with the measures needed from the justice department.
The fellow doctors of N.T.U. Hospital told, that Hong is really kind toward people, very patient and kind toward his patients, they’d never imagined him to be involved.
There were doctors who’d felt that this case was too bizarre, that it wasn’t, normal, for a physician, to risk everything for two million dollars N.T.
Based off of understanding, after May when the district attorney’s office got the courts to take the mother-son pair, Lee and Chang into custody, they’d quietly interviewed Hong, and he’d admitted to fraud, and turned in the $1.5 million N.T. in what he received illegally too.
Based off of understanding, Chang and Lee were suspected of getting the elderly patients starting in 2011, claimed that they could take them to treatment, that so long as they get the diagnoses that they’d lost the abilities to live on their own, they could receive the government assistance, the labor insurances of over $400,000N.T.s, and that the health insurances agencies will pay them anywhere from ten thousand to a hundred thousand dollars N.T. each, and after the individuals were, approved, the mother-son pair then took thirty percent of what was paid as their commission, this lasted for almost seven years.
The investigations found, that the mother-and son pair first, falsified themselves as the elderly’s relatives to accompany, and, they’d come into contact with Hong in treatment, later, they’d, admitted to running the insurance scams to Hong, and asked him to comply to them, making the fraudulent claims, and Hong couldn’t say no, after they’d, begged and pleaded with him, he’d agreed on getting the pay offs of $5,000 to $12,000N.T. per case, and, they’d gone to pay and receive the cash nearby to the N.T.U. Hospital, at undesignated times and days.
The National Insurance Department based off of the evaluations of the members of the public who’d applied for the assistance, found that in the past seven years, Hong had written and signed for three hundred diagnoses of patients being, unable to care for themselves, after they looked at the papers more closely, they’d found that the diagnoses don’t match up with the patients’ conditions, suspected that Hong was involved in an insurance scam, they’d sent the case to the investigations department for investigation.
And so, because the insurance fraud scam artists offered you a good deal, some payback, and that, is why you’d, taken the money, and worked alongside them, signing off on bogus diagnostics, and you got caught, that still just showed, that if you do something illegal, no matter how much you’d earned from those scam ventures, you will, pay MORE than you will ever get from these scams!
