And, you DO realize, how STUPID this is, right??? From the Front Page Sections, translated…
A woman, Wang in Hsinbei needed some quick cash, and she’d, photographed herself nude, as a pawn; as she couldn’t pay up the loan later, the collector, Chung threatened to spread her photos out, she was scared and called the police. The Hsinbei District Attorney’s Office believed that Chung had made serious threats toward Wang, indicted him yesterday.
The investigating officers pointed out, that using nude photos as a loan item became a sort of a trend in China in recent years, and, they’d never expected it to happen in Taiwan too. The officers said, the people who took out the loans were all women, and, as they took the loans, they’d had to turn in their personal data, and photos of themselves nude, holding their picture I.D. to the people they took out the loans from, and once they couldn’t pay up, the debtors then, passed the photos out, there were, a lot of women who couldn’t manage to pay back, and, their photos were, spread out all over.
The Hsinbei District Attorney’s offices found, that Chung and Wang are friends, and Chung had lent money to Wang, and that was why he had four nude photos of her, and later on, they’d gotten on each other’s bad side because of the payments, in October of last, Chung texted Wang to threaten her that he will spread out her nude photos, and told her, “I will blur out your face, but, I don’t know if someone can still, recognize you, you want to try me?”.
As the district attorneys were interrogating him, Chung admitted to loaning a few thousand dollars to Wang, that was why he had the photos of her nude, and, as Wang couldn’t manage to pay back, he had, spread the words, but, the nude photos were, deleted long ago, he’d not intended to make Wang’s nude photos public at all, he’d only told her so, because he wanted his money back, but, the D.A. believed he’d, made the threats validly.
And so, this, is one more lesson learned, that you should, NEVER turn in your intimate photos to anybody, like this woman had done, because, you’re, putting yourselves at risk, for having those pictures spread out online.
