It’d Taken Her a Minute to Write One Character, the Elementary School Student Who Had Cerebral Palsy Earned the Mayoral Award

The lives of these young people are, truly, inspiring, they’d, overcome a great deal in their lives, and, despite what they’re faced with, they’d, worked hard, to achieve their goals, and that is something that we can all, take from, from the Newspapers, translated…

The young woman, Jun-Ro Chiu who’d won the mayoral award, because of her premature birth, it’d caused her to have cerebral palsy, she’d lost control over the motor movements of her own body, it would take her a minute to write one character, and, a homework assignment takes her three whole hours to complete, but she is very optimistic, and told the paper, that she dreamed of becoming a news anchor one day, to report more of the heartwarming events all around, she received the award for her outstanding achievement in school from the Mayor of Taipei, Ke yesterday.

Chiu said, that she’d loved reading, using her iPad to read the articles online, and her favorite kinds of books are the adventure novels, and the comic, Doraemon, although she envied how the mechanical cat had an assortment of gadgets, but as the special eds instructor took out the equipment to help her finish up her assignments, Chiu told her teacher, “I want to finish my own work myself while I still can,” she showed a great level of expectation of herself.

The courage of battling her own destiny, Chiu was invited to a radio program to share the tale of her life with others, it’d sparked that desire of becoming a news anchor some day, she’d wanted to be a reporter of the hopeful tales, to help more understand those who are handicapped, so they can open up their hearts, and accept those who aren’t like themselves.

Seeing her daughter who’s active, very articulate, Chiu’s mother, Chen told, that as Yun-Ro turned two, she still didn’t speak, and now, she’d become, optimistic and active, that was “something I’d never imagined to be possible”.

And, the graduate of Dalong Elementary School, Chen, the family of five relied on the measly paycheck of her father working as a garage mechanic, it’d made her cherished the books, the materials she was given to use, she is more mature than most children her age, very understanding toward others, which caused her to become very popular in her school, she’d not only received the award for being a good daughter, she was also awarded the Mayoral Award at graduation too.

And so, we can, learn from these two young ladies, that so long as we keep working hard toward our goals, we can, overcome whatever hardships life throws at us, that so long as we keep our faith, that we can, conquer anything that comes our way, we can, overcome whatever difficulties we are faced with in our lives, and these two young women had, learned this valuable lesson that will carry them far in life at such an early age too!!!
