The Father & Son Got into a Physical Altercation Involving a Knife, the 99-Year-Old Father Cut His 59-Year-Old Son’s Finger Off

Apparently, it’s, easy to be angered, and lose control, and use violence on one another! From the Front Page Sections, translated…

The shocking news, of a father hacking down his own son came yesterday in Sanchong District, the fifty-nine-year-old man, Chen had his index finger on his right hand hacked off by his own elderly ninety-nine year-old father, he sustained multiple injuries on his head, and both his hands as well, he’d started screaming out for help; the elderly, Chen who’d waved the knife also sustained injuries on his own wrist, they were both, rushed to the hospital, and not in life-threatening danger.

The police investigation showed, that the 99-year-old Chen lived with his son and daughter-in-law, and complained on how they’d always asked money from him, but didn’t take good care of him, that they wouldn’t, cook and feed him; awhile ago, the daughter-in-law went back home to visit with her own family, leaving the father and son, yesterday at noon, the elder complained again, on how his son didn’t cook him anything to eat, they’d gotten into a serious altercation.

Chen grabbed the butcher knife close at hand, and, chased after his own 59-year-old son and hacked at him, they started the brawl in the kitchen, moved into the living room, then, to the lanai, the son had the index finger on his right hand severed off, sustained multiple injuries on his head, and both his hands, he’d started, screaming for help.

The neighbors heard, and notified the police, but as the police arrived, the doors were locked up; the police then notified the fire department to break the door down, back then, Chen’s fingers were, chopped off, he had serious injuries, and, the fire department immediately rushed him to the hospital for the surgeries; then, they’d found the 99-year-old elderly who’d attacked his own son had a four-centimeter gnash on his right wrist too, they’d took him to the MacKay Hospital in Taipei to get fixed up.

The police stated, that from the preliminary investigations, Chen’s finger was severed off by his own elderly father, as for whether or not the 99-year-old elderly’s injuries were self-inflicted, or was it caused by his son’s trying to defend himself, they will wait until both are stabilized, and investigate the matter further.

This, is still caused by a build-up of sorts, and, the son’s refusing to make his father his lunch was probably, just that final straw, and, the specifics of the case, we’re, not sure, because it hadn’t come out yet, and, we can only base off of what we have here, and say, that it sounded like an verbal altercation that’s, turned physical, resulting in injuries here.
