He’d Tripped and Had a Fracture, Making His Health Worsen, He is Set to be Euthanized on the Seventh
The 85-year-old Dar-Jen Fu awhile ago took his families to Switzerland, readied himself to be euthanized. He is in the terminal stage of pancreatic cancer, had been in pain every single day of his life, the medications didn’t work, which made him want to get euthanized more and more by the day. He’d continually posted on FB, his last words, stated affirmatively, “I’d spent all this money to come to Switzerland and this final passage of my life, because I want to be a precedence! Be an example for the rest! I won’t be coming back to Taiwan again! Goodbye!” It’s said, that he’d, already scheduled his own euthanasia on the seventh of this month.

He’d publicized his own picture on his deathbed, with his son kissing him, it was very heartwrenching to see. It’s said, that during these past two days, he was hospitalized for an accidental fracture in Switzerland, which added to the pains of his own cancer. And, he may choose between the days of the 5th to the 7th, to be euthanized, this was the fifth time he’d, altered the date of his death, and he still wasn’t able to, live his final wishes of being euthanized in Taiwan.
Fu posted the procedures of his plans for his own euthanasia, as he’d arrived in Switzerland last November, he’d set the date of his own death on November 10th, but his son had a sudden high fever, and so, he and his families came back to Taiwan immediately, the second time, the date was set on December 5th, but because the snow storms in Europe, it got halted again. After he’d hosted his own son’s wedding, he’d booked the flights for March 26th, in first class, and then, changed his mind, to get euthanized on his birthday, April 3rd, but, the medical professionals worked hard, to sustain his life, and he’d, delayed the date to his own father’s memorial, on June 6th, and because there were two other individuals who’d signed up for their euthanasia already, he can only choose from either the fifth or the seventh to do it.
Fu is a Christian, and, his promoting euthanasia was, contradictory. These past few days, he’d stressed, that life and death, he gave to God to decide, but he has the right to choose the “how”. Because his son and his son’s birthmother, Ms. Chen arrived to Switzerland, he couldn’t make it to Yueh Sun’s funeral. Fu showed a photo of him and Sun together from before, and mentioned how Sun wasn’t against his beliefs of getting euthanized, and said that Sun was “my angel”.

He’d spent ALL of his life savings of three million dollars to his own euthanasia, and the very last time he’d had his friends from the entertainment sect, found Tang, Wang, and Kan who were all there at his son’s wedding from before to come. Kang said regrettably, that Fu mentioned how he was going to Switzerland, and not much else, that was why, he’s not at liberty to comment on things.
Tang recalled, that they’d talked for over three hours for the meal, and that Fu had, given him a ton of things that’s happened to him, for him to use as his comedy act, “But, I’d not known what he was planning for himself then”, that he can only give Fu the blessings of having everything he wanted, to be safe on his journey.
And so, because euthanasia is still not yet legalized here, that is why this man had to fly to Switzerland to get it done, and, by selecting to end his own life on his terms, he took control of his own life back into his hands, as he was, diagnosed with cancer, and it must’ve been, too painful, as his cancer progressed to the terminal stages that was why, he’d, decided, to get euthanized.
