The One-Year-Old Leaned Against the Car Window, His Mother Was Careless, Opened Up the Car Door, the Friend Who Was Driving Slammed on the Gas Pedal Thinking it was the Brake, the One-Year-Old Flew from the Car, and Got Run Over by the Car

A woman, Su from Miaoli two nights ago, went out of her car to buy some fruits, left her son who was only a year and four months old in the front passenger seat; but, as she’d opened up the door to get back in, her son lost balance and fell out of the car. Her boyfriend, Wang, as he’d tried to catch the infant, accidentally stepped on the gas pedal and reversed, Su fell down, and her son, ran over by the car and died.

The twenty-eight year-old Wang felt really awful over what happened, admitted to negligence, he said that it happened so suddenly, his mind went blank; the police charged him with manslaughter, and the district attorney sent him home after interrogating him. And, Su (age 28) wasn’t aware that her son was leaning to the windows and just opened up the car door, the district attorneys are now, looking to see if she was, negligent.

The police investigation found that two evenings ago, Wang drove Su (age 28) and her son from Hsinchu to Miali to catch the shrimps, beacucse Yeh the young child was sleepy, at around ten, they drove back home, as they pssed by the Dzi-Chiang and Hsindong Intersection, Su said she wanted to go buy some fruits, Wang parked the car by the curbside, let Su get out. Su worried that her son will start to cry not seeing her in the child’s seat in the back, she’d moved her son to the passenger side for Wang to look after.

Not long thereafter, because there was a pickup that blocked Wang’s views, he’d set the car to reverse, and was backing up, and, Su bought the banana, and opened up the door, got ready to get on, and the moment the car door was opened, her son lost balance, and accidentally fell out of the car.

Su called aloud, as Wang found that the child had fallen out too, he’d immediately used one hand to try and pull the child back in, but wasn’t able to, at this time, Wang accidentally stepped on the gas pedal, and hit Su, although he had, immediately braked the car, but the wheels on the front already, ran over the young child’s head, and the child’s head was, stuck beneath the front bumper.

As the local police and fire department got the call, they’d rushed the child to the hospital, but the one-year-old boy’s head was severely, crushed to bent, he’d died.

And so, this tragic accident was caused by the mother, and her boyfriend’s carelessness, they were, negligent, and this caused this young boy, to lose his life, had the mother not put the kid in the front, and made him stay in the car seat on the back, then, none of this would’ve happened!
