The seventy-seven year-old elderly woman, Wu as she’d gone out for her morning walks, she was hit at high-speed by a sedan, she’d, smashed into the windshield of the car; and the driver not only didn’t stop, he’d driven for three more kilometers at high speed, attempted, to lose her, and her husband who was out with her to exercise chased the car for about half and hour, found his wife, lying in a pool of blood, and called the ambulance, she was, rushed to the hospital, but the injuries she’d sustained was too serious, she’d, died.
The police arrived after being notified, and found the license plate that fell from the scene of the accident, and, zoomed in on Chen (age 32) who owned a used car lot, and at 5:30 in the morning, they’d gone to his home to find him. Back then, Chen was half dazed, wreaked of alcohol, but denied having hit the elderly woman, then drove off, claimed that he didn’t have his car; the police stressed to him, that they have the surveillance footage from the traffic cams, that was when he’d admitted to the hit-and-run, and took the police to the industrial road, where he’d gone to leave his car with which he’d, run over the elderly woman.
Chen had a 0.21 blood-alcohol-concentration reading, the police charged him with manslaughter and hit and run, sent him to the D.A.’s office, after the district attorneys interrogated him, they took him to have flight risk, and asked the courts to keep him in custody.
The police investigations found, that Wu the elderly, early yesterday morning, went for a walk with her husband, at four in the morning, they’d walked to the intersection of Xinhe Road and Route 55, and was hit; back then, her husband went ahead of her, to get home to get something, and as he’d heard the crash, he’d turned around, saw his wife, ran over.
The elderly knew a car accident had occurred, looked around, but couldn’t find his wife, followed the path the car took to get away to look, he’d walked about three kilometers forward, and found his wife, lying on the roads.
The police said, because the force of impact was extreme, the elderly woman flew into the windshield, and got stuck head in, onto the passenger side of the windshield of the car; Chen ignored what happened, and drove off to the turn three kilometers away, then, turned the streets, the elderly woman flew out.
And this, is the WORST kind of hit and run, because this driver was drunk and he didn’t want to get arrested for hitting the elderly woman, AND driving drunk, so, he’d, sped off, and he was caught, JUST the same, and had he stayed at the site where he’d crashed into the elderly woman, then, she may not have died!!!
