The driver of the altered car, Hu two years ago in June ran over a Chingwha University doctoral student, Lin, after Lin was caught under his car, Hu drove on, dragged Lin to death, then, ran off. On the first and second trials, Lin were sentenced to eighteen years for murder; the father of the deceased also filed a civil suit against Hu for over millions of dollars, yesterday the Taipei District Courts opened up for the case, but Hu was arrested the previous night for threatening the police, “I will kill you all!”, he was in custody, and so, his father showed up on his behalf.
After the trial, the press got a hold of Hu’s father, he’d cried, and said, “I’d acted right my whole life, and my son was, what ruined my reputation!”
The police investigated, two nights ago, at around ten, Hu started making a scene at the Jiangling Subprecinct of the Hsintien Police Department, and he’d shouted to passersby as well as the police, “I’m going to kill you all!”, and started pulling and tugging with the officers, and was charged with obstructions of public safety, and taken into custody. The D.A. after interrogations yesterday, charged him with threats and obstructions of police duties, and set the bail at $10,000N.T.s.
The police investigations found, that two evenings ago, a member of the public reported an accident at the Jiangling Subprecinct, the police asked the man to wait at the door for the traffic team to arrive, as Hu passed by the station, he’d ranted toward the member of the public who reported the accident, “What, I got a weapon in my bag!”, causing the man to rush back into the substation.
As Hu saw the officers approach, he’d threatened, “Killing you will only get me two months in prison tops”, the officer and he started engaging in physical confrontation; Hu was subdued by the officers, and charged with obstruction of public safety, stayed in the substation for the evening, yesterday he was taken by the officers to the Taipei district attorney’s office.
And so, here, we have a man who’d acted up, because he’d felt displeased for getting that eighteen year sentence for killing the doctoral student, and the whole thing was his fault, but he’d felt unjust that he got such a heavy sentence and scapegoated on other officers of the law, and now, he’s, taken into police custody, and this is the results, of spoiling your child rotten, of NOT teaching her/him to take the responsibilities for her/his own bad behaviors!
