The Motorist Was without a License, His Friend Was in a Vegetative State, He May be Paying for it His Whole Life

Because you rode your motorcycle out without a license, and got into an accident, that turned your friend into a vegetable, it’s only JUSTIFIED, that you pay for it! Lesson to be learned here: NEVER operate a motor vehicle without a license, and even IF you have a license, do ride or drive more carefully…because you NEVER know something like this can happen to you too! From the Front Page Sections, translated…

Two years ago, a man, Hsu without a motorist license, rode out with his friend, Wu, was suspected of running a red light, and collided at a high speed with Lai who was suspected of abusing ketamine, and was evading police arrest, Wu was seriously injured, became a vegetable, the Changwha District Courts found that Hsu had to pay Wu’s family, in getting him a nurse’s aide, and for his care, a total of over $23 million N.T.s, the case can still be appealed.

On the criminal charges of the car crash, on the first trial, Hsu was found guilty of neglect, sentenced to ten months in prison; as for Lai’s dangerous driving for abusing ketamine, although the toxicology results showed positive for drugs, but he’d not shown the signs of lack of conscious, erratic behaviors, losing his balance, or blurred visions, there’s no way of proving he was driving dangerously, and Lai wasn’t at fault, he was found not guilty.

The verdict stated, that on the early morning of March 3rd two years ago, as Hsu rode his mother’ motorcycle without a license out with Wu, as he’d passed the 139 Route that circled around the outside of the eastern side of the city of Changwha, Lai who’d been driving fast from the city of Taichung, evading police arrest, ran across this intersection, Hsu made an illegal left turn, and, rammed into Lai’s sedan at high speed, the motorcycle and the two men both fell, Hsu sustained fractures on both his feet, Wu had serious head trauma, and was rushed to the hospital, but, he’d, become a vegetable.

Wu’s families sued in civil court, asking Hsu, and the owner of the motorcycle, his mother, to pay over forty million dollars N.T.; as the courts held its sessions, Hsu’s mother claimed that on that very evening, she was already asleep, didn’t know that her son snuck out with the scooter. And because there’s no way of proving the Hsu’s mother condoned her son to ride out, the judge found that Hsu’s mother wasn’t responsible.

As for Hsu, the Collectivist Courts made the calculations, adding up the fees for the nurse’s aide, the caretaking, the loss of work days, along with for emotional distress, that he’d needed to pay a total of over $23 million N.T.s to Wu and his parents.

And so, this was, an accident, and because this man didn’t have a license to ride, that was why he was, punished so severely, and he’d caused his friend to become a vegetable, and the man he’d rammed into was high, it’s just, that the courts couldn’t find him guilty too, because he didn’t show lack of judgment, incoherence, etc., etc., etc., after he got rammed into by this unlicensed motorist.
