The deeper meaning of making the donations to those in need, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
There are, the twenty-four elementary school in Taoyuan, with a total of 600 students, who’d donated over hundreds of thousands of their allowances, to help the Children’s Homes rebuild. And, although these kids were donating changes in a couple of hundred dollars at most, but the school used this opportunity, to teach the students how to give, instilling the belief of “Everybody can give”, which was, planted into the lives of these children, and, hopefully, they will keep on giving, to those in need around them.
There would be often, a surplus of goods from the distant region schools that were given by the rest of the world, but this sort of “giving in increasing amounts”, had neglected to teach the children, that learning to provide for oneself is what’s more important, and so, a lot of children took it to be matter-of-fact that others are giving to them, without that sense of gratitude, not cherishing the heart behind the act of giving to them, this would be, a most negative way of education.
Once, a compassionate business in Hsinbei City beore the New Years, delivered the New Year’s Eve meals to the local school’s children who are living below the poverty lines, and the C.E.O. took the time from his busy life, to visit with the students. What’s more was, she’d hoped that the school would set up a course, for her to interact with the children I was there for this course session, and I’d, gained a lot from the experience.
The C.E.O. called out to the students warmly, she said, that anybody can be of assistance to anybody else, all it takes is a word, an action, even something that’s not done intentionally, there’s no need to spend a ton of money, to set things up. She’d shared with the kids, that back in her elementary years, she had a compassionate classmate, who’d shown her the care and concerns when she was down, her friend became, the driving force to motivate her to achieve in her elementary years.
We’d often thought about helping these students in the distant regions, other than giving them money and resources, we should also encouraged this group of children to come out, whether it be interacting with their external environments, treating others warmly; or to give back to the communities, to find that cohesiveness to do good deeds. After all, the purpose of education is making everybody feel bliss, in the giving and taking from the interpersonal interactions we share with others.
And so, this is a very important thing that the students in the world should learn, to GIVE back to the community, like how these twenty-four schools had done it, by getting the children to donate their allowances, they’re teaching the students the meaning of giving, that it doesn’t matter if the amount is very small, that it would be, more important, that you have the hearts to help someone who’s in need out.
