She’d Read an Article of How a Woman Felt She’d Married the Wrong Man, and Gave the Kudos, Her Husband Saw, Got Angered, Took Their Son to Burn Charcoal to Suicide

A man, taking HIS revenge on what his wife said of him out on their child, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

A Man, Tsai Was Displeased at How His Wife Gave Kudos to an Article Written by Another that Said She’d Married the Wrong Man, They’d Gotten into a Verbal Altercation, that Day His Wife was Angry So She Didn’t Pick Up Their Son with Cerebral Palsy from School, it’d Angered Tsai Even More, He’d Taken His Own Son to Commit Suicide by Burning Charcoal, Was Found Just in Time, and His and His Son’s Lives Were, Saved; Tsai Said He’d Only Wanted to Scare His Wife, that He’d Not Really Planned to Take His Own and Their Son’s Lives, But the Judge Believed that He Had Planned to Intentionally Take the Life of His Own Son Who Couldn’t Fight, Charged Him with Attempted Murder and Sentenced Him to Two Years Eight Months in Prison.

The verdict pointed out, that the 46-year-old Tsai has two daughters and a son with his wife, the three children are all adults, the eldest daughter already married, the youngest daughter lived away too, the son had cerebral palsy and lived with the parents, during the daytime, he was taken to the home for classes, and at night, after Tsai’s wife got off work, she’d pick him up to take him home.

Around April of last year, Tsai saw how his wife gave kudos on an article written by another woman on how she’d married the wrong man, he thought that was what she’d meant too, confronted her by phone, they got into a serious verbal altercation.

That very day, as Tsai’s wife didn’t go to the school to pick up their son, Tsai after receiving the call, went to pick him up, on the way to the home, he’d called his wife repeatedly, but the phone wasn’t answered, he got mad, bought the charcoal, carried his son into the bedroom, attempted to kill himself and his own son by burning the charcoal to commit suicide.

The next day, the eldest daughter received a call from her mother, went home to pick up the clothes, as she’d entered their home, she’d smelled charcoal, opened up the bedroom door, she’d found her father and younger brother unconscious, she’d immediately called the ambulance, and they were both saved.

Tsai was charged with attempted murder; he’d told the judge, that normally, his wife was home at around nine, that he’d burned the charcoal, not to commit suicide or murder his own son, but to scare his own wife, but his wife spent the evening away, he’d felt remorse over what he did.

The eldest daughter claimed to the judge, that her father’s work was unstable, was under great economic stress, and when he’d drunk too much, he’d felt, that everybody was belittling him.

The judge believed that Tsai knew that burning charcoal can kill, but took along his son who was immobile, who couldn’t express his own wishes with him, if he was only trying to scare his own wife, “one bag of charcoal would be plenty”, believed that he’d neglected how his own son couldn’t say no, that he had intentions for murder; but after considering the family’s economics, and how he was getting along with his own wife, the judge reduced his sentence to two years eight months.

And so, to get BACK at his own wife, he’d taken his own son who couldn’t even move on his own, to commit suicide, and that constitutes as attempted murder, because his son couldn’t express his wishes, and, the man didn’t ask his son’s opinion if he wanted to die with him, and just, went ahead, and started burning the charcoal…
