Bad news, off of the Front Page Sections, murders caused by wanting to be the B-O-S-S!!! Translated…
Two Vietnamese workers, both named Nguyen two afternoons ago, they were suspected of getting into an argument on who ruled over whom; the thirty-seven year-old migrant worker was suspected of using a fruit knife and stabbing it into the twenty-three year-old migrant worker’s chest multiple times, causing the victim to bleed out and die. After Nguyen committed the murder, he ran, and with the help of consoling from the migrant worker agency, he’d turned himself into the police yesterday, and was charged with murder, sent to the D.A.s office.
The police investigated, that the suspect and the victim were both Vietnamese migrant workers, and both worked as operators at a factory at Nangang Industrial area. Two days ago, both men were preparing the meals, and invited four other Vietnamese fellow migrant workers over to the dorm to drink and chat.
Based off of the other Vietnamese migrant workers who were witnesses, they’d testified that while they were all intoxicated, the suspect asked the victim to buy some cubed ice at the super convenience shop downstairs, then, asked the man to bring him some paper towels, then asked him to buy bottles of water, the victim was displeased of running these errands for him, and hollered at him, “You’d called me to drink with you, but instead, you’d, treated me like I’m your slave!”
The suspect, Nguyen was fourteen-years senior to the victim, and believed, that he’s older, but at this time, the victim lost his emotional control, and hollered at him, “I’d come to Taiwan to work, and treated like an errand boy, when can I stop being an errand boy?”, and said, that he won’t have it anymore.
The two men started arguing, the suspect picked up the fruit knife that was used to chop the vegetables, and stabbed into the victim’s left chest; the migrant workers who were present were all thrilled, they’d all rushed off, with the suspect. And, it wasn’t until the others came upstairs, did the victim get found, and by then, he’d already, lost too much blood, and died on the way to the hospital.
And so, this must still be a built up, and, two men CRACKED at that moment, and, someone D-I-E-D, and that, is what had happened, but, could this have been avoided, maybe, had these migrant workers gotten enough emotional and social support from the systems, but it wasn’t, because there’s NO supportive network offered to them, they have to form their own cliques, and, inside these cliques, there would be those who are, better off than others, and, those who are better off, have this need to SHOW off, and then, everything crumbled…
