The Forty-Five Year-Old Man, Tsai Took Care of His Mentally Ill, Forty-Three-Year-Old Sister Long Term, Early Yesterday Morning, He’d Strangled Her to Death with His Bare Hands, Then Attempted Suicide by Overdosing; After Tsai Swallowed the Meds, He’d Called it in “I’d Killed My Own Younger Sister, I’d Swallowed the Pills to Kill Myself”, He was Saved by the Police & Fire Department, Rushed to the Hospital, and the Emergency Room is Still Trying to Save His Life Right Now.
The police found the note, it had, “I’m taking the youngest to go find mom, burn more money for the dead for us”. The families told, that Tsai had been emotionally unstable lately, the police suspected that he may have been overwhelmed with long-term taking care of his younger sister, that the stress caused him to crack; but as Tsai became conscious last night, he’d, evaded the police’s questions.
The police said, that Tsai and his younger sister lived in the alleys in Zhonghe. At around nine in the morn, Tsai called the police, claimed, “I killed my younger sister, and now I’d swallowed the pills to commit suicide”, the police immediately notified the paramedics, and rushed to his place with them.
As nobody answered the door, the police and firefighters busted the door open, and they saw the woman, Tsai lying on the bed, with livor mortis, they’d estimated that she’d died three hours ago; Tsai was lying next to her, unconscious, rushed to the hospital for a stomach pump.
The police investigated, that the siblings were seventh and eighth in the family, after Tsai got out of the military services, he’d volunteered to look after his mentally ill younger sister and their parents, but because he couldn’t work, the money was supplied to him by his older siblings; five years ago, they’d moved in to the location, with the rent of $12,000N.T. per month, and their parents died, and there was only him and his younger sister.
At around seven in the morning yesterday, Tsai’s second eldest sister went to their apartment, rang the doorbell, wanted the two of them to visit the temples with her, but nobody answered, she thought nobody was home, and then left; but around nine when she’d returned, she saw the tape, and learned, that something awful had happened. She said, that she’d noticed that her younger brother was emotionally unstable lately, and asked them to move back to Linkou with her, but he’d turned her down.
“They were close to each other, and greeted us, we can’t believe that this had happened”, the neighbors told. Based off of what the neighbor witnessed, Tsai took his younger sister out for a stroll two afternoons ago, back then, he was smiling as he’d greeted them, they couldn’t detect that he was under duress.
And so, because this man was overwhelmed with taking care of his own mentally ill younger sister, and since the parents passed, it was just the two of them left, and, the burdens of caretaking got too great that he just, couldn’t handle it, that was why this had happened, and that he didn’t know how to get help for what he’d needed.
