This still, won’t do SHIT!!! But hey, at least, the government thought up of something, to PROTECT those who are being stalked…from the Front Page Sections, translated…

In Recent Years, There Had Been Many Reports of People Being Stalked & Harassed, so the Laws Were Set Up, it’d Caused the Society to See Harassment as a Serious Problem. The Legislative Department Passed the “Anti-Stalking” Amendments, in the Future, if the Amendments Passed into Law, if a Person Continues to Harass Someone After the “Protective Orders” were Set, the Individual Will be Faced with Three Years in Criminal Prison and Or Fined for Under $300,000N.T.s.

The draft of the laws defined the actions of harassment, “harassment” included feeling that infatuation toward someone, a strong liking towards, or hating of the person, and with a continued surveillance of the individual her/himself, and/or those whom are related to the person, demanding dates, mailing items, and sending messages that are defamatory to the individual’s reputations, a total of SEVEN behaviors, that’s caused the victims fear.

As the people called to report this, the police can put an end to the harassing behaviors or warning, and, those who were investigated to have been involved in these behaviors can be fined between $10,000 to $100,000N.T.s; but to those who’d done it in the heat of the moment, a warning shall be issued.

The director of offices of internal affairs, Lai said, that in order to protect the freedoms of the citizens, this amendment gives right to the police, to choose how the matters are handled, hoping that as the officers of the law intervened, it can effectively stop the acts of harassment, to prevent the onset of more serious crimes that comes later.

The Office of Internal Affairs stated, that there are punishments set up for stalking and harassments under the current “Domestic Violence Prevention” and “Sexual Harassment” laws, but these laws were set up on the specific relationship and genders, that it’s hard for the cases that don’t fit into these categories to work out. In order to prevent the incidents, and to punish the lawbreakers, that is why this new amendment was drafted up.

And so, this, is the government’s new way of protecting the citizens from being harassed, stalked, and even, hurt by the loves that had, gone bad, but, is it effective? We don’t know yet, but based off of the past cases, I’m sure, that there would be, more actions that were needed, to finally prevent these acts of violence in the name of love from happening.
