The Lovers on the Run Had a Child, Trying on the Unregistered Infant

How can you raise your children up right, if you’re on the run yourselves, huh??? And if this is NOT called irresponsible, I don’t know what is! From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A Man, Tsai and his girlfriend, Chang, they were on the run for eight year because of fraud, during which time they’d had two sons, and now, the children are eight and five; these young brothers followed their parents, hiding, they’d not registered at the land offices, and became, “nonexistent”. Because nobody knows if the children are alive or dead, the Yunlin Police started searching for them, and the family of four were found in Kaohsiung awhile ago, and, although after the evaluations, the children are found to be healthy physically and psychologically, they’d still placed them in foster care.

After Tsai and Chang were taken into the Chiayi D.A.’s office, the D.A. believed that they both had good attitudes, and they’re still checking the facts of their charges of fraud, the D.A. sent them back home after the interrogations, but because they’d run with their children from before, the social services temporarily barred them from contacting their children.

The police said, that the couple worked odds and ends jobs to keep the family going, their lifestyle, considered normal, they’d once considered about turning themselves in, but, they’d worried that nobody would be left to care for their young, that was why they’d escaped with them; although they’d not let their children attend school, they had, however, hired private tutors to teach them. The children also said that their mom asked an aunty home to teach them, so they can read and write. The Yunlin Social Services Department believed that the children were cared for well, they will be getting them to start school soon.

The police said, that eight years ago, Chang had an active arrest warrant for fraud on her, and not long after she’d escaped she’d had a son, and five years ago, she’d had a second son; as the two children were born, the hospital called the land offices, but because Chang had a fake I.D., plus she’d disappeared right after she gave birth, the two brothers were considered “missing children” by the land offices.

The D.A.’s office in Yunlin set up the “Women and Children protections contact platform”, zooming in on the missing children, and found these two young unregistered boys to be missing, they don’t know if they were alive or dead, they’d decided to chase the leads.

The police and district attorney’s offices cross checked the data, believed that the parents of these young boys to be Tsai and Chang, who both had active arrest warrants of fraud on them, that because the family ran off together, that, was why the boys weren’t in school, the D.A.’s office and police went to Kaohsiung many times to check.

The officers first chased the lead in the contact information that Chang left when she gave birth at the hospital, and found the information to be false, the leads severed; later, they’d traced the phone number that Chang used under a false name, along with her LINE information, and analyzed the location of the cell phone towers, believed that she and Tsai were hiding out in Kaohsiung. The officers found the family of four with the social services department on April 4th, they’d arrested Tsai and Chang, leaving the two young children in the care of the county government’s social services department.

And so, you can see, life on the run, is NO life for a young child, and yet, these parents had TWO children with them on the run, and this just showed how SELFISH the parents were, only considering how they don’t want to get arrested and put into jail, with a total LACK of concern, of what’s in the best benefit of their own young!
