Beaten Someone to DEATH Because of a Parking Space, Sentenced to Seven-and-a-Half Years and Paying the Family of the Deceased $3.83 Million N.T.

The WORTH, of a HUMAN life, reduced to the dollars and cents here!!! And, this death should’ve, could’ve been easily avoided, if only…from the Front Page Sections, translated…

A Man, Yang was Displeased at How His Seventy-Year-Old Neighbor Had Blocked His Parking Spot with His Scooter, After They Got into an Altercation, He’d Swung and Hit Lee, Lee Fell Down, Hit His Head, and Died; After Yang Killed the Man, He’d Not Admitted to Doing Wrong, Nor Did He Reach a Settlement with the Family of the Deceased, on the First and Second Trials, the Courts Mandated that He Serve a Seven Year Six Months Sentence, and Needed to Pay Over $430,000N.T. of Money for the Elderly Man’s Funeral, and $3.4 Million N.T.s for the Families’ Emotional Distress.

The verdict pointed out, that the seventy-one year-old deceased in November of 2015, took up a spot in front of his house, so his children would have a parking spot when they’d come home, the welder, thirty-seven year-old Yang after he got drunk, arrived home with his wife driving him, also wanted to park in the same spot, he’d gotten out, removed Lee’s motorcycle away, and Lee stopped him, they got into a verbal altercation.

As Yang’s wife saw, she’d driven the car elsewhere, and Yang originally was leaving too, but the deceased demanded that he put the motorcycle back where it was, Yang was displeased, swung with his right arm and hit Lee on the right side of his jaw, causing him to fall and hit his head, his skull fractured, he’d had subdural hematoma, and died on the way to the hospital.

Yang was charged with negligent homicide, he’d claimed that it was Lee who’d reached and grabbed his shirt collar from behind, and he’d only, tried to brush his hand away, not turned around to beat him. The judge believed, that with Yang’s stature, he’d swung at Lee who was elderly and frail, and he’d not admitted to his wrongdoing, not reached a settlement agreement with Lee’s family, sentenced him to seven years six months; the case is being appealed to the Highest Courts right now.

The family of the deceased is suing in the civil front, demanded that Lee’s wife pay three million dollar N.T. for their emotional distress, and two million to each of Lee’s children, along with the over $430,000N.T. in funeral plans, they are asking a total of over $9.43 million N.T.s.

Tainan District Court believed, that as Yang turned around, he’d become furious, and swung hard at Lee with his right fist, causing the accidental death, mandated that Yang pay Lee’s widow a million dollars N.T. and each of the children $800,000N.T. each, along with paying for all of Lee’s funeral processions, a total of over $3.83 million N.T.s.’

Both sides were displeased at the verdict of the amount mandated, and both were going for the appeals, the Tainan High Subsidiary Courts believed that the amount was just, tossed back claims of both, the case can still be appealed for a third time.

And so, you can deduct, that alcohol was what made the situation get out of hand, because, normally, you would just, park elsewhere, but this man was drunk, and, that was how this argument turned into murder, and all of this could’ve been prevented, had the man not been drunk, and had the elderly man not demanded that the man put his scooter back.
