The Man Who’d Physically Assaulted Women at Random with a Huge Lock Was Caught

A man, Lee was suspected of using a large motorcycle lock to physically assault single female pedestrians in Hsinchu and Taoyuan, causing at least FOUR victims, and one of the woman whom he’d attacked had eight stitches on her face, the Hsinchu Police arrested Lee in Taoyuan yesterday, and from the preliminary investigations, they’d found that as he was serving time in prison for a crime his wife took up with another man, that was why he’d started, hating women, after the interrogations, the police charged him with attempted murder, and they’re looking to see if there were, more women who were, victimized by him.

Yesterday as the police arrested Lee in Taoyuan, Lee was wearing the exact same clothes that he had on when he’d assaulted the woman in Hsinchu back on April 1^st, there were also two huge locks, a rock on the pedals of his motorcycle, inside the storage compartments, they’d found another huge lock, and the police suspected that he had the intentions of physical assault again, and charged him with attempted murder, but Lee denied committing the crime.

On the evening of April 1^st at around ten, Huang was walking on the street of Hsinchu and was hit on the head by a man on a motorcycle with a huge lock, her face was slashed, needed eight stitches. The local police after being notified, reviewed the surveillance cameras, and found that the owner of the motorcycle, Lee was involved, and found that he had many prior charges on his name, and lives in Taoyuan currently.

While the Hsinchu Police Department chased the whereabouts of Lee, they’d found that back in January, he’d physically assaulted his older brother and older sister-in-law in Kaohsiung, and had an active arrest warrant by the local district attorney’s office, awhile ago, he was arrested by the police in Taoyuan, and sent to the D.A.’s office, made bail, the Hsinchu police found out where Lee parked his motorcycle from the Taoyuan Police and waited for him there. Yesterday, as Lee went to get his motorcycle, the police caught him; the police also found, that there were women who were attacked in the same manners in Zhongli and Zhubei areas too.

The thirty-seven year-old suspect Lee after getting caught, denied the allegations, the police found, that while Lee was serving in jail for fraud and robbery, his wife found another man, and suspected that that, was what made him start hating women.

After the victim, Huan learned that the suspect was caught, through her friends and families, she’d made the statement, “thanks for help from all over, to catch this man, this ticking time bomb in Hsinchu is already caught, and we can all, breathe easily now!”

After Lee’s arrest yesterday, his older brother from Kaohsiung told, that “my brother is the headache of the family,” that he’d often gone to his birthmother for money, and when he couldn’t find her, he’d gotten angry at other family members, and this February, he was suspected of using a large motorcycle lock and attacked his wife, and from January to March, he’d even smashed the windshield on his pickup and his window at home too, the family is troubled by him.

The police also posted Lee’s license plate, and called out to possible victims, to contact the Hsinchu Police Department’s Second Substation.

And so, this man took his anger of his wife’s leaving him for another out on other women, and, this just showed, how emotionally unstable he was, and, he’d, scapegoated those who are even related to him, and, his family members all wanted to get away from him, because he was violent toward them, he was, a ticking time bomb.
