The son of Ying Di and Peng Sun, Enzo Sun who is currently attending a high school in Delaware County, Pennsylvania because he was suspected of making threats to attack his school, he was arrested on the 27th, and, if he was found guilty, he faces a maximum of a five year jail sentence.
Enzo Sun denied all the accusations, claimed that he was only joking; the judge mandated the bail set at $100,000U.S. (about $3 million N.T.s), at the same time, Sun was to undergo a psych evaluation, the court date was set on April 11th. But Sun had yet to make bail at midnight last time in Taipei.
The local police station chief received a call from school, that there were students who’d told them, that Enzo was inquiring how to get a gun, and that he’d planned to open fire at the school on May 1st. The police searched his boarding family residence, and found the online internet search records of the two assault rifles AK-47 and AR-15.
The law enforcement officials also found a military vest, a military ski mask, a backpack which he can carry the ammunitions in, the crossbow with the enforced aiming devices, seven arrows, the assault rifle stand, the wooden case to carry the rifle in, twenty 9mm bullets, along with other suspicious items.
And, his classmates told, that in February, he’d brought a bullet to school, and showed a footage of him being in a ski mask, with a torch blower. The Bonner & Prendergast Catholic High School that Sun attended stated, that the very afternoon they’d received the students’ concerns, they’d immediately notified the police, fearing the safety of the staff as well as the other students too.
The police believed that he’d made plans to attack, believed, that it’s best that they take actions, to prevent tragedies, and arrested him, charged him with making terrorist threats, and notified the Federal Bureau of Investigations’ local offices too, and if the charge stands, Enzo Sun is looking at five years in prison.
The public defender, La Torsen stated, that Enzo Sun didn’t plan to open fire in school, he’d made no such plans, that this was the police’s doing, making it sound like a possible school shooting case, what the police found, was his Halloween costumes, and it wasn’t legal to own them.
La Torsen said, that Enzo Sun is an exchange student (Sun hadn’t been registered for school in Taiwan, he wasn’t a foreign exchange student), there was the cultural differences, that he’d not understood how sensitive the Americans are toward these matters; based off of understanding, he was already, admitted into a university, and planned to major in the criminal laws department.
Enzo Sun’s attorney notified the family, that they’re, currently waiting for the visiting dates in jail to be set, and, once the dates were confirmed, they shall, send the personnel to visit him and give him all the needed assistance.
And so, either this kid is too god damn STUPID, or that he’s on the verge of CRACKING, as how they all were, before those shooters went and open fire, but, perhaps, this kid was having adjustment difficulties, and his parents aren’t by his side, that, is why he’d, acted up, to get someone’s attention, who knows? And this just still showed, how important it is, to NOT make threats, not even as a joke, because someone WILL take it too seriously, even IF you were, only joking about shooting someone.
