As the leading men and leading ladies of the T.V. and movie industries had their children way back when, it was during the era of the occurrences of the news of kidnapping, and the parents are used to send their children abroad to study. But, once the children are sent away, their parents don’t have a hold onto them anymore, they’d become, mustangs that suddenly gained their freedoms, or maybe, because they’re Asians and were easily discriminated by the classmates locally, in the past, they were all, very protected, either that they’d fallen ill easily, or that they’d gotten into fights, found in possessions of knives, guns, and, whether or not they’d turned bad or stayed good, they only have themselves, to rely on.
In the entertainment industries, including T.V. hosts, T.V. hostesses such as Hsiao-Yen Chang, Tien Yu, Hu, Jacky Wu, Nai-Lin Hsu, and Yang, all sent their children overseas to study, and, Hsiao-Yen Chang’s daughter after she’d finished school, she’d, stayed abroad, rarely visited Taiwan, but Hsiao-Yen Chang would taken all the time she could, to fly overseas to visit her once a year.

Tien Yu told, that because back in the day of when the Taiwanese T.V. Personnel Bai’s daughter was kidnapped then murdered, he’d worried about the safety of his own children, that was why he’d sent his son and daughter off to Canada to study, and his son, Ken Yu started acting up there, he was once arrested for smoking marijuana, and transferred in and out of three different academies, it’d brought headaches to Tien Yu and his wife, once he’d gotten into a fight in school, he was taken to the principal’s office, and, his mother and father had to drop their work, and rush to Canada, to apologize on their son’s behalf to the school principal.
The T.V. host, Hu’s daughter, Jen was sent to the Institute Le Rosey in Switzerland, and the tuition alone cost $140,000N.T. (about $440 million N.T.s). Jacky Wu’s daughter, was sent to the U.S. for her undergrad, her son has the musical talents, excellent in the piano, two years ago, he’d gotten into the Berkeley School of Music, and now, Jacky Wu is still showing off his own son on his T.V. shows.

Nai-Ling Hsu’s three children were going to school in Canada, and what was different compared to the other T.V. personnel was that his wife, Weng went to Canada and bought a house there, and during his children’s coming-of-age, his wife was there, taking care of them in person, while he’d taken the off days he had from the recording of his programs, to fly or and from, with the parents watching over them, the three children not only managed to finish their education, his youngest Ting-Yong Hsu had gotten accepted to the Organic Chemistry Department of Yale after his graduation from University of Chicago, and, the outside world called him the most studious of all the second generation of the stars.
The singer, Sky Wu’s son is twenty-three this year, afte4r he’d graduated from the Cambridge International School he’d gone straight to the U.S. to study music, in Taiwan, he was diagnosed with depression and bipolar disorder, and had been in treatment since his diagnosis, and every year in the summer and the Christmas holidays, he’d still returned to Taiwan for treatment. Lat year there was the news of him, flashing a knife on the streets and was arrested by the police. Sky Wu’s friend disclosed, that in the past three years, his son was troubled by depression and bipolar disorder, and this time it was his being bullied, that’s caused his bipolar disorder to relapse. That he’d felt compelled, to defend himself, that was why he’d, flashed the knife.
And so, not ALL of those children of the stars who got sent abroad turn bad, there are, several cases where the children of the stars who got sent overseas who are still, very well behaved, and, mostly, it’s because at least ONE of their parents were there, watching over them, and this still just showed, how important it is, for you, PARENTS, to BE there for your own young when they were still young, because after you’d’ been M.I.A. (missing in action???) throughout their younger years, and suddenly you want control over their behaviors, wanted them to listen to you, there ain’t NO chance in hell, and, the reason why the children misbehaved, was because the parents AREN’T paying ENOUGH attention, or that they’re, easily influenced by the environments, so it’s caused, by BOTH nature AND nurture!
