The Decapitation of His Older Sister in Minghsiung, the Suspect Taken into Custody

The thrilling case of decapitation in Minghsiung two days ago, the forty-year-old man, Lai with a mental illness registry had stabbed his 45-year-old older sister to death, after he saw her fell, he’d taken the knife, then, decapitated her. The D.A. examined the body, and confirmed, that it was, decapitated, that there were, at least eleven stabs on her, and they will conduct an autopsy to see the real cause of death.

After Lai murdered his older sister, he was taken into police custody, he’d demanded his lawyer be present, and asked for a trial too; the police took him to the courthouse. The court two nights ago, ruled that the police had, followed the right procedures in arresting him, but Lai refused to be interrogated overnight, and until yesterday, he’d finally, given his statements.

The D.A. considered that the defendant committed a serious murder, and wasn’t in stable conditions, that if they don’t mandate his custody, it may cause harm to someone else, and that it would be hard to track him down if he gets released, and asked the courts to have him taken into custody, which the courts allowed for.

As the police conducted the interrogations, Lai still couldn’t tell them exactly what had happened, and refused to answer some of the questions they’d asked him, the officer with seniority experiences used his Buddhist beliefs, told him, “your sister already got taken by Buddha”, then, he’d, admitted to murdering his eldest sister. But, two evenings ago, at the night of the stabbing, he’d claimed, that it wasn’t his eldest sister whom he’d killed, “I saw something”, that was why the attack happened.

Based off of understanding, Lai had been diagnosed and treated for schizophrenia seventeen years ago, yesterday when the police interrogated him, he’d told them he’d gone off his meds for years on end, his eyes looked dumbfounded, like nothing had happened, like he’d not, murdered his older sister so brutally.

And, the police found, that a year ago, Lai stopped taking his meds on his own too.

And so, this is why, it’s, extremely important, for those diagnosed with schizophrenia and some other of the more serious mental illnesses, to keep on taking the medication, and, there would be, side effects that are undesired, but, at least, by taking the meds, the symptoms, the hallucinations, the delusions would be, suppressed, and it wouldn’t go out of control like for this man, who’d gone off his medication for a year.
