We have the when, and the how, and now, all we need, is the W-H-Y, for the family of this woman from Hong Kong, to find what closure they possibly can from her death, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

The police conducted an autopsy of the woman, Pan who came to Taiwan to travel and was murdered by her Taiwanese boyfriend, Chen yesterday, they’d already concluded, that she’d died of strangulation; the police had already taken samples from her organ, to see if she was, drugged before she was strangled to death

The case involves the two areas, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, and the public will be interested in seeing whose jurisdiction the case will fall. Based off of understanding, the Shihlin District Attorney’s Offices already asked Hong Kong for the suspect, Chen’s information via the Criminal Detectives Agency, but Hong Kong had yet to reply back; the Shihlin D.A.’s offices will seek out assistance from Hong Kong through the Justice Department, hoping, that both sides can agree, to work together to solve this murder.

The International Justice Unit’s Assistant Director, Meng stated, that the murder happened here, and it’d, ended here too, and naturally, Taiwan should take the lead in investigation; the Assistant Director, Chen stated, that if the suspect Chen is asked by the D.A.’s offices to get sent to Taiwan for trial, then, the Department of Justice will do all that it can, to make sure that it happens.

The police department in Hong Kong stat4ed, that the suspect, Chen is currently in holding in the General Ao Police Department, and although he’d admitted to murder, they’re still, looking to find out what the motives were. And because there’s no extradition laws between Taiwan and Hong Kong, or ties of the sort, the Hong Kong Police held a meeting with the Justice Department locally, and, they had yet to reach and agreement on how to handle this case.

The suspect, Chen, on the 13th admitted to the police that he’d, murdered Pan, and on the same evening, the police in Taiwan had, discovered Pan’s body in the ditch by the bike pass at Zhuwei MRT Station. The district attorneys went back to where the body was found, and found, a bone, and suspected that it was from Pan’s cervical vertebrate, and already sent the investigative team to check the DNA to see if it matches.

The police autopsied the body, and found there to be no visible external injuries on Pan, but there was a dislocation of the second vertebrate, and the hyoid bone was missing, and suspected that Pan was choked to death by someone barehand, and they’d taken the samples of her internal organs, to see if she was, drugged, but because her body was already, too decomposed, it’s still unknown, if the results would be helpful.

Pan’s father arrived at the coroner’s office to his daughter’s autopsy in a cap and mask, looking distraught, without saying a word, he’d left on a flight last night, and Pan’s mother was scheduled to arrive today, and will take the household registry, to show that she was, related to Pan, the D.A.’s office estimated that they will be done with the autopsy by next week, and give Pan’s body back to her parents.

And so, although the reason for murder is still in the fog, but at least, they’d found her body, and, the precise cause of death will finally come out, after the autopsy is finished, as for the reason, only the man and the deceased know.
