The Surveillances on the International Sex Trade Found, that the Zhongshan First Subprecinct Had Received $40,000N.T.s as Bribes Per Month, the District Attorney’s Offices Searched the Subprecinct, and Took the Manager and Three Officers into Custody Yesterday
Of the individuals who were arrested in the bust, the owner of the bar, Wu was taken into custody, the woman in charge of sending the ladies in, a woman, Hsieh posted bail on $200,000N.T., the bookkeeper, Huang, out on bail of $50,000N.T.s, the rest of the involved were being interrogated throughout the night.
The preliminary investigations found, that the substation would receive a payment of $40,000N.T. from Wu each month, and on the holidays, they’d, jacked up the prices to $80,000N.T.s; they’d not used a middleman, to get the fees, it was the officers who’d gone to the bars, for the pick up for the money. But the officers involved, as well as the bar workers all denied having bribed or received the bribes. Based off of understanding, the Taipei D.A.’s Office’s Women & Children Unit zoomed in on an international human trafficking case last year, and found that the woman who was the owner and operator of Ripon Japanese bar, and accepted female prostitutes from China and Southeast Asia to work, and the clientele were primarily Japanese customers, last July, the investigative bureau and the Department of Immigrations zoomed in on the activities, searched the pub as well as Wu’s residence and they’d interviewed about sixteen individuals who may have been involved; Wu was out on a $50,000N.T. bail.
As the D.A. looked into the case more closely, they’d found, that local subprecincts had close involvements with the operators of the bars, and they were suspected of receiving the bribes monthly, to not report them, or give them the heads up when there’s a sweep, and this had gone on for three whole years.
Yesterday, the D.A.s offices contacted the investigative bureau’s Airport offices, the police stations in Taipei, and they’d sent out seventeen teams and busted the local substation, the officers’ home, as well as the bars, a total of seventeen locations, and confiscated the physical evidences, and impeached the officer manager, Lin, three other officers, Gao, Ji, and Chen, along with the owner of the bar; Wu denied the allegations of having bribed the officers, and claimed that she was friends with the officers.
The officer, Gao is currently studying in the graduate department of Police University, and were former and present officers in charge of the area with Ji and Chen. The substation said, that in order to maintain its innocence in the involvement, they’re going to comply with whatever the D.A. needed, and to help the officers get more aware of the bribe situations by educating them.
Based off of understanding, the woman, Wu was the person responsible for Ripon Bar, which was located on Zhongshan N. Road, and the ladies were aged between 30 to 40, and, the bar was reputable in its having the ladies go out and have sex, with the ladies accompanying the men as they drink, if the ladies didn’t get called out, they can receive $1,500N.T. per day for going to work, and if they were taken out by the clients, then, they would receive $7,000N.T. each time.
And so, because the officers were, bribed, and given some sort of incentives, and that, is why they’d, covered up what the bar was doing, and yet, this still got found out, which still just showed??? Oh yeah, you will, NEVER get away, with anything illegal you’d done, even IF you were (b/c those officers are all gonna get FIRED???) and officer of the L-A-W! And, if you really ARE a morally responsible worker, then, you shouldn’t have gotten involved in this sort of SHIT in the first place, and, money is still the culprit, it’s the sole cause of the officers’ involvement in covering for the bars…
