Every time as I’d made my way into the hospital unit, everybody would say to you, “Your social worker mom is here to see you.”, and, being deaf, you’d always, given us, your biggest, brightest smile first. July, it’s the 197th day since you were born, the neonatal ward sounded off a loud hooray, my dearest, young “graduate”, congrats, on bravely making it past two critical notices, to get yourself out of the incubators, and learned how to, breathe on your own, we’re, so proud of you, child, we hope, you will, grow up, safe and sound.
Thank you, for giving us the opportunity to learn from you for 197 days, and allowing us all, to accompany you by your side during the time too.
