The High School Student Found a Wallet, and Turned it into the Police, and He Was Searched by the Masses Like He Was the Thief

Two high school students in Keelung found a wallet at an arcade, they’d waited for ten minutes for the owner to come back, but the owner didn’t, and, they’d, immediately, taken the wallet they’d found to a nearby police substation. And, as they’d arrived home, they’d found, that they were, “wanted” by the owner, and even though, the owner of the wallet had, taken the footages down, and apologized to them, the students still felt awful about it. The school told, that thankfully, the students’ innocence were proven, and the school will, commend them, for not taking things that don’t belong to them.

The high school students, Huang and Huang, two evenings ago, went to stroll with a female student from Nuan-Nuan High School to the temples, they’d, entered into an arcade, and saw a wallet, and believed, that the person who’d, lost it must be very stressed out, they’d, flipped through the wallet, and found no contact information.

Huang said, they’d waited at the spot for the owner to show up, but he didn’t, and after ten minutes of waiting, they’d, taken the wallet to a nearby police substation, they’d thought it was, a good deed that they’d, done, but, as they’d arrived home, they’d found the surveillance footage of the two of them, “they were treated as thieves, and, were being searched”, they’d felt, awful about this.

Huang immediately called up the person who’d lost his wallet, told him that he’d dropped the wallet off at the substation, and yet, the owner still questioned, why they’d not immediately taken his wallet to the stations and started, flipping through his wallet. After Huang explained his behaviors, the owner of the wallet had, apologized, and, deleted his post, but, Huang and his friend still felt hurt, believed that the owner of the wallet didn’t get his facts straight, and he shouldn’t have, posted footages of them online.

The Keelung High School principal’s secretary, Lien stated, that the students were, searched after by the public for no reasons, and the school didn’t know the facts, until the police told them, and the school will, give commends to Huang. And, the Nuan-Nuan High School’s students affairs department also told, that the student had, found a wallet, but, she couldn’t find the contact information, and so, she’d, sent it to the subprecinct, and that the owner of the wallet needs to go and claim it.

The station manager of the substation on Zhong-Er Road said, that the truth was the students, picking up the wallets, not taking it for their own, that two evenings ago at seven, they’d, dropped by the wallet, and, the owner of the wallet came two evenings at 8:40 to report his wallet stolen, and because there wasn’t a clear statement from the owner, and it was the shift switch, although the wallet was already in police possession before the owner came to report it being stolen, but the owner didn’t know, that the students had, turned it in already.

And so, after this incident, WHO will turn in the things they’d found at random? NOBODY, that’s W-H-O, because, here you are, doing a good deed, and, the owner of the wallet had, asked the rest of the online community, to find you out, as a thief who’d, stolen his wallet, while you were only picking it up, and you had, waited for the owner, he never showed, and you’d, DROPPED off the wallet to the station, and that just showed, how the adults’ minds are, more TWISTED than teens’ and children’s too!
