May I Have This Dance

Some things that are, lost, at a slower pace, compared to the memories, in the demented elderly’s lives, translated…

Although, for the demented elderly, the time, the places, and the people, are lost through the passages of time, but, that memories of loving to dance stayed intact, inside the cells of their bodies. As the oldies played on nostalgically, the elderly gentleman took my elongated arm and started dancing with me.

So, some things, they don’t forget, the memories of the muscles, would be, one of the last things to go, in the elderly people who’d become, demented, even if they’d become, immobilized, they’d still get reminded of what they used to know and love to do every now and then…
